Spinach and Bacon Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
We love this recipe at our house. Last time I simply used left over baked chicken, crumbled crispy bacon on top of everyones helping and a bit of parmesan as suggested by someone earlier. It's always a big hit!

Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
I combined this with one of your brocolli quiche recipes. I had chopped up a bit too much brocolli, with my mushrooms and 1/2 onion, so I ended up with enough for 2 quiche. Therefore I added a 1/2 cup more milk (evaporated), and threw in 2 more eggs. I used mostly mozarella in one (with a touch of cheddar), and mostly cheddar in the other (w/a touch of Mozarella) The mostly mozarella was a larger hit in my home. Also, I took reviewers advice and added a bottom layer "raincoat of cheese" to ensure no soggy bottom. I left off the parsley and pimentos. Loved it!

Pork Chops to Live For

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
Yum! I had 4 thin chops. Placed baby carrots in bottom of Crock pot, followed by large chunks of fresh mushrooms. Combined l can of Cream of Mushroom, 1/2 cup milk and one envelope of dry onion soup mix. I then alternated layers of mixture, pork chop, mixture, pork chop..Added 3 chunks of butter on the top. Cooked on high for 4 hours. Wow it was a hit! ..will cook again, but will add flour to thicken bit more!

Nana's Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
I followed other reviewer's advice with less butter, more cheese, and added a touch of Sour cream. I improvised with frozen sliced yellow squash (thawed, cooked few seconds prior), and added perhaps a 1/2 cup extra squash than what the recipe calls for. Will fix again, as it got great reviews. However, I will add more soup next time for more flavor/moistness.

Japanese Fruit Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
We've made this pie for years, ever since my daughter was in girl scouts, and her leader made it for them! A family favorite. We have found that it is perfect after about 30-35 minutes..a bit dry with 40.

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
This is quick and easy! I used less than half of the butter suggested however, and they were still very flavorful/moist. Will use this recipe again!

Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2010
These carrots were a nice change of pace, not the "same ole, same ole". Will fix again!
