The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2009
WOW! Amazing cookie! It held it's shape beautifully! I rolled my cookies to 1/2" in thickness, and made large hearts for Valentines day. I had to up the cooking time to closer to 15 minutes (I will probably do it a little less next time), but they turned out scrumptious! Love this recipe! I used the "Sugar Cookie Frosting" recipe from this site, and these cookies are delicious! I can't wait to make sugar cookies again -- SOON!

Greek Orzo Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
I adore this recipe. I always add a bottle of Greek Salad dressing to this salad, and it's HEAVENLY. It is absolutely yummy. I usually don't have red onion on hand, so I usually end up adding green onion instead. Yum. Yum. YUM. I found bacon & sun dried tomato feta cheese and used it today - so good! My daughter loves it, too. There is some serious yumminess in this recipe.

Beef and Broccoli

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
Yummy -- with some modifications. I didn't enjoy the tomato flavor of the soup - it overpowered the dish, and wasn't quite the flavor I was looking for. So, I added a beef bouilion cube, and some "Chinese 5 Spice" (A combo of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, anise and cloves) and a bit more ginger. I didn't measure -- but sprinkled it generously to taste. It improved this recipe dramatically.

Fantastic Black Bean Chili

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
I've made this chili more times than I can count, since I first saw the recipe. It's absolutely YUMMY! The vinegar is the secret ingredient here -- it takes it from great, to AMAZING! I love this recipe -- and it's even better the next day! If you're following the South Beach diet, this is a perfect recipe for phase 1.

Gourmet Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
I was looking for a "non-traditional" pizza, and this fit the bill! It was absolutely yummy! The flavors worked really well together. I made 1/2 the pizza w/ green onions, the other 1/2 w/out for my picky kids -- and both sides were delicious. I'm going to be making this one again, and again. Try this recipe! You won't regret it.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: May 10, 2007
So yummy! Chewy, delicious, and everything I could ever want in a brownie, and this is without the frosting! I will definitely have to try it with the frosting, but I usually like my brownies plain. YUM!!

Baked Spinach

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2002
I was surprised by this dish! It was really quite good, and even my very picky 3 year old ate it, with very little complaining! I used seasoned bread crumbs (Italian), and that was very good.
