Shredded Beef Sandwiches

I used a roast instead of stew meat, and like some others, I added the sauce to the meat after it had cooked. A lot of juice cooks out of the meat and I was afraid it would dilute the sauce too much. The sauce was a little sweet for our liking, but we gobbled it up just the same.

I didn't want to bother with the onions, tomatoes and peppers so I just added some picante sauce to the melted cheese. It turned out great!!

Monkey Bread I

I thought 3 cans of biscuits would be WAY too much, so I reduced the entire recipe by 1/3 and just used 1 can of biscuits. WRONG!! Now I understand that it takes 3 whole cans of biscuits to fill the bundt pan. Follow my advice and follow the recipe! This was a quick, easy and TASTY breakfast!!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

The pork was very tender after it cooked, but even after I added the bbq sauce, I could still taste the overwhelming sweetness of the root beer. My family didn't really care for it.

Santa Fe Cornmeal Pizza

I used this recipe for the crust only. I used wax paper to spread the crust so it wouldn't stick to my hands. I topped the pizza with refried beans, taco meat and colby jack cheese. My husband and loved this! It is definitely on the rotation!

Cinnamon Rolls II

I've made these 3 weekends in a row. Needless to say, my family loves them. After the bread machine does its thing, I divide the dough in half and make a pan of dinner rolls and make the rest into cinnamon rolls. We'll never go back to store bought again!

Blonde Brownies I

Mine came out more cakelike than chewy, but very tasty just the same! I used white chocolate chips just for something different. I think the recipe says to put the chips on top because they sink to the bottom if you stir them in. Mine did!

Cheesy Potato Soup II

Yummmm!!! I boiled my potatoes in chicken broth, used Velveeta cheese instead of American, and I thickened the soup with instant mashed potato flakes. Then I topped it off with bacon bits. It was wonderful!!
