The Juiciest Hamburgers Ever

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2012
This is my favorite hamburger recipe by far. The flaver is really great. I haven't grilled these yet but I'm sure they'll be great then too. Edit - I have made this at least five times since my previous review and have made other hamburger recipes. This is still the best, haven't even tweaked the recipe!

This was great. And so simple to change if you like.

Chinese Pork Chops

This is one of my favorite recipes by far. I made it so much that my boyfriend told me to give it a break.

A Jerky Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
This was awesome! I didn't deviate from the recipe at all. If I had a complaint (which I don't), it would only be that this is pretty hard to use as the main dish. It wasn't too spicy at all (it was perfect) but it's too spicy to eat a full chicken breast worth. My solution would be to make extra sides to fill up on, or even have it as an appetizer. All in all: Great! Also: Wear gloves! The most helpful review on here is a one star about the pepper burning her hands. That just goes to show how helpful reviews are! Finally, if you're worried about this being too spicy for your taste, don't make it for a meal. First make it in a small amount. If you think it's too spicy give it away. I'm proof that there are people out there that like it exactly as the recipe prepares it. The next time, adjust the habenaro to your spicy liking and enjoy! ***Edit*** I've made this many times now and still love it as is, but doubling the recipe for the sauce. FYI there is a major difference in spicyness when you use fresh peppers as opposed to canned or jarred. Fresh peppers will be LESS spicy.

15-Minute Marinated Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2010
This is a great recipe. However, I did make some changes. I cut the lemon juice in half, and added a tablespoon of soy sauce instead. I also added to cloves of garlic minced, and then pan-fried it instead of grilling. My boyfriend and I loved it! It was my favorite chicken recipe yet! Thanks!

Green Smoothie

Chia seeds are more nutritious and easier to digest than flaxseed. I would switch it out every time.

Modenese Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2012
Great recipe. Waaaaayyyy too much salt. Definitely cut it in half at least. Didn't have fresh garlic on hand so I used a teaspoon of garlic salt. I also did two tablespoons of butter and two tablespoons of olive oil instead of just butter. Thanks!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

I think this is a solid four star recipe. I don't think I'll keep it in the dinner rotation though.

Feta-Stuffed Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2012
This was a little awkward to make. The amount of feta the recipe says to put into the hamburgers was impossible I had to cut it way back. Otherwise, pretty good.

Crispy Chicken Strips

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
I made these last night. They definitely get points for being simple to make, but I would have liked a little more flavor. I will be tweaking this recipe in the near future. I also fried it about an inch of oil. Thanks for the recipe!

Breaded Dijon Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
Dijon porks chops and chicken breasts are a stable in my house. I would recommend bread crumbs rather than crackers. And don't be afraid to add other flavors! I add garlic to about everything.

Beth's Meat Loaf

This was pretty good. Wish I would have reserved some of the sauce to eat with the meatloaf as a dip instead of ketchup.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2012
This gets four stars for the following reasons: The pork should be covered while baking, and there needs to be a specification of what type of pork chops need to be used in order for you to have to bake them for an hour. I used boneless and they took 20 minutes.

Pesto Cheesy Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
Pretty good. I also dipped in egg and bread crumbs, and I'm glad I did. It seemed like there was too much pesto though, and I only used 1 tbsp for each chicken breast.

Classic Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2012
This was good, and my boyfriend really liked it, but I'm only giving it four stars because it seemed like something was missing. I think for sure the egg/rice ratio was off. Definitely a good recipe, but I think it could be better.

Garlic Parmesan Orzo

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
Not a bad recipe. It's a lot of butter. I was going to use olive oil but my boyfriend talked me out of it and I wish I hadn't caved. I also used way more garlic which was a good idea. My biggest irk is the Parmesan cheese should not be added until everything is cooked through. When you add it with everything else and stir it together the Parmesan chunks together. Next time I would cook and stir until heated, then sift the Parmesan on top and let it melt.

Always A Winner Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
OK recipe. Lots of ingredients. I omitted the cinnamon and also the chipotle chilli powder as it was $7.65 for a small bottle. I subbed more regular chilli powder. I also did what another reviewer suggested and baked it with the marinade on it. The chicken was cooked perfectly, but it probably would have been better if it had been marinated for the proper time, then cooked. Also, I think I would cut back on the ingredients if I make this again. Of all the massive amounts of ingredients, only the chili powder really stood out. It doesn't seem like all these ingredients are really needed.
