Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2013
This is truly the best recipe I've found. The only thing I did was make the whipped cream rather than use store bought. Can you say empty bowls every time? This is the only recipe I will use from now on...thanks!

Party Kielbasa

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
My teenager absolutely loved this! So much that he asked how soon i'd be making it again! I used bratwursts and cooked it all in a saucepan...letting them brown somewhat in the sauce before slicing them up. I did as others suggested and used bbq sauce, worcestshire sauce, spicy mustard, and pepper. I poured it over some brown rice and green beans. I was lucky to have a little left over for lunch the next day. Yum!

Apple Pie

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
This was my first real attempt at making an apple pie. I used store bought crust and used milk rather than egg. Other than that I followed the recipe to a tee. It smelled delicious and came out looking beautiful. Juices were runny but I only waited an hour and a half for it to cool. The next time I will definitely cut back on the sugar! Still a delicious pie! Thank you!

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
Smells incredible baking and is very delicious! I had 4 over-ripe bananas and followed a couple reviewer suggestions. 1/2 cup white sugar w/ a 1/2 cup of brown..added allspice, cinnamon, cinnamon sugar, vanilla extract, reduced the amount of flour and added about a 1/4 cup or so of oats. Makes 12 muffins! This is a keeper!

Curried Beef a la Tim

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I just finished eating this! REALLY TASTY! I did read the other reviews and wanted it spicy, so I added more curry powder and some cayenne pepper. I sauteed the onions and added the apple and raisins near the end. I love the apple/raisin sweetness with the spicy curry. I omitted the celery. ALSO - I seasoned my rice with salt, curry, cayenne and margarine. So the complete meal had a real kick! Make sure you cover the beef while it's simmering so it will cook all the way through. I'm going in for seconds!!

Award Winning Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
I gave this recipe four stars but it's exceptional when you add some more heat. (I omitted the carrots, celery) I added cayenne pepper and a bit of ground chili pepper. Smells fantastic! You will not be disappointed with this recipe. I cooked it a day early to give the flavors time but I had to practically beat my family out of the kitchen from wanting to eat it tonight! I plan on making a cornbread recipe from this site to go w/ it tomorrow. Enjoy!

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
It's pretty good. I used cinnamon raisin bread and sweetened condense milk (14oz) and 1/2 cup of milk. It smells incredible baking...wasn't too sweet or too soft. I'll wait for my son to wake up and try it.
