Well, last night and tonight I drove Carolyn to Keene hospital ER.
Last night they looked at her foot and toes and sent her home. Tonight was another matter. She issues with her diabetes and they found a mass in her abdomen. This scares me!  The NP gave her a referial to both an endochronoligist as well as to some one for the mass. Turns out some one knew about the mass but no one told her or me. The NP told us it has grown since last time.
The NP tryd to make us feel better by saing it might be benign but that still does not make me feel good.
This WILL be dealt with Monday! We are calling to make appointments on Monday. She also has a bump in one breast and this will also be brought up with the doc!
Thats all I realy have to say.
I do want to say Thank You for the happy birth day wishes!

Have you been told what she should be eating? Have they said how to accomplish that on your budget? How were you able to walk her to the ER? You don't have a vehicle, tight? Will you be able to follow up with doctor appointments that are outside of your walking distance? I wish you and Carolyn well as you get this figured out!

Seamus and Carolyn, my prayers to you both! I can relate only to the breast lump and am so glad you will make calls on Monday. She may not tell you how worried she is, just keep giving her support. I wish I lived nearby to take you to appointments!

Seamus I am glad you and Carolyn are addressing these issues together. I can certainly understand why you are feeling anxious over this - just take one day at a time - one thing at a time. Praying for Carolyn and you! Please keep us updated.

I'm so sorry that you are both going through that. It is always scary when you don't know what is going on. I hope they figure out what is wrong quick and that they can take care of it swiftly and successfully!

Seamus. I know I don't know you or your situation, and I hope this doesn't offend you, but when my Mother was dying many many people helped myself and my family in different ways. I have been blessed in my life and would like to pay that forward. I don't have much, but have more than I need and would love to just send you a few dollars for gas to get to your wife's appointments. You don't have to respond here, but if you would like to send me an address where I can send you something, please email me at my sign in name at aol. If not, I wish you both luck in this journey and will keep a look out for postings about how she is doing. My heart goes with you both. -Lara

About Me
I was born in cadiz, Spain but was raised on the wonderfull island of Okinawa. We moved to United States in 1972 at age 8. I am learning to cook and care for my self at age 46. This IS a chalinge!!
My favorite things to cook
Wow, so many!! I love the foods of Okinawa and Spain the best but I do make mostly Mexican food. I do live about an hour away from Mexico afterall. The food of the South is great, mum's kin moved to VA in 1632. Chinese food is allso awasome!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Hmm, maby mum making real fried chicken(I dont eat chicken any more)and making greens and corn bread. Mum was from the rural South and knew how to cook! Da was from canada but I dont think he was a cook.
My cooking triumphs
Finly baked bread that was good. NOT a brick or raw. People evan asked for the recipe!
My cooking tragedies
Are only lesons. A learning tool.
