 Hello every one!
yesterday a friend of ours and her son came over to help us clean and organize. It was a great start! She is comming back on Wednesday to help us do more cleaning/organizing. You should see how this place is comming together. its great!
Once the desk is clear I will start using it to study my math and English and writting(cursive).
I am also starting to pay more attintion to our "diet." First is to deal with some basics and then to diabetic friendly meals.
Last night I was able to serve Carolyn at our dinning table instead of serving her her meal on the sofa. Felt realy nice to do that! I also made more then just an entre. That is somthing I am working on. Making a main course and at least one healthy side. A little at a time makes a big defrince in the long haul. Just do what you can and over time you will be able to do evan more. Or as I like to say "You can't write the songe till you have lived it"
We bought a piano for $20 at Salvation Army Store and our friend is going to haul it over for us. next it will need to be tuned.
Today as we drove into Keene a hawk flew right infront of us and almost got hit! That would have been bad!
we tryd to babysit our neighbers dog but he was far to much for us to handle and he and Lucky did not get along. So they took him on there trip to North Carolina.
My wifes Uncle in nevada died today:( Wish we could send flowers.
 well, thats all for now.

About the cleaning and organizing. I have found that if I pick up things and put them where they belong everyday it does not become a big job.Cleaning once a week is a must. Get in the habit of that and you won't have this problem again. Just saying!!

Good for you Seamus! You are tackling different aspects of ya'lls life one at a time - organizing - studying - writing - meal planning. One day at a time - that's all you can do - and you're doing it well. And I'm proud of you for allowing someone to help you in these efforts - some people are too proud to allow that - but you are accepting of the help and it allows blessings in your life and their life - - the double blessing!! I'm sorry to hear about the death of Carolyn's uncle - but send prayers instead of flowers - they last longer and are sweeter than any rose.

About Me
I was born in cadiz, Spain but was raised on the wonderfull island of Okinawa. We moved to United States in 1972 at age 8. I am learning to cook and care for my self at age 46. This IS a chalinge!!
My favorite things to cook
Wow, so many!! I love the foods of Okinawa and Spain the best but I do make mostly Mexican food. I do live about an hour away from Mexico afterall. The food of the South is great, mum's kin moved to VA in 1632. Chinese food is allso awasome!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Hmm, maby mum making real fried chicken(I dont eat chicken any more)and making greens and corn bread. Mum was from the rural South and knew how to cook! Da was from canada but I dont think he was a cook.
My cooking triumphs
Finly baked bread that was good. NOT a brick or raw. People evan asked for the recipe!
My cooking tragedies
Are only lesons. A learning tool.
