Hi everyone.
Carolyn and me are in a shelter. Lucky has to sleep in the car till I get a doctors note saing he is a theripy dog then he can come into the shelter. Things are looking up. We both have a doctors apointment at the clinic, which is at the hospital here in Keene. The apointments are early next month.
We are looking for work/housing here in Keene as well as in Concord, Manchester and Nashaua.
I went into the market the other day and thought I saw EAKE and her husbund but I was in a rush and did not stop to see if that was her.
Shelter lifre is not so bad. But we so wish we had our own place! We have some morale soport from a few folks we do know. Thats something.

Hey Seamus! Nice to see you still enjoying this blog. I will keep you, Carolyn and Lucky in my prayers :) I hope you all find a place to stay soon. Take care.

Seamus, I'm glad that you and Carolyn are safe and warm. Maybe the resource center at the shelter can help you find a small place. Take care of yourselves, and keep on blogging!

Seamus - I know shelter life is not your first choice - but it is safe for both you and Carolyn. It is a stable environment until you and Carolyn can find jobs and will give you a chance to save up to get a place of your own. Look to the Lord - He's watching over you.

Seamus, it's good to know that you and Carolyn are safe in the shelter. Not ideal, but safe. Hopefully you'll get the note that the dog is a therapy dog in a few days. And I hope you're able to find work and a place of your own soon.

About Me
I was born in cadiz, Spain but was raised on the wonderfull island of Okinawa. We moved to United States in 1972 at age 8. I am learning to cook and care for my self at age 46. This IS a chalinge!!
My favorite things to cook
Wow, so many!! I love the foods of Okinawa and Spain the best but I do make mostly Mexican food. I do live about an hour away from Mexico afterall. The food of the South is great, mum's kin moved to VA in 1632. Chinese food is allso awasome!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Hmm, maby mum making real fried chicken(I dont eat chicken any more)and making greens and corn bread. Mum was from the rural South and knew how to cook! Da was from canada but I dont think he was a cook.
My cooking triumphs
Finly baked bread that was good. NOT a brick or raw. People evan asked for the recipe!
My cooking tragedies
Are only lesons. A learning tool.
