Hi from Keene, NH!! We are loving Keene and NH!!
So, we recived 2 pablano chillies from the ood bank and I made the wiie and me chillie rellnos and did not use a recipe! She liked it!!
We looked in one market for the same chillies and saw none so we were lucky to get those!
Last night I made a Spanish tortilla, which is my comort food and she liked it!
I am planning on starting an Agorist bakery here in Keene and to debute my bread(pan de horno)I was thinking o making a speghitie dinner, useing the recipe from the 1964 edition of Joy of Cooking, the meal will be at The Keene Activist Center or KAC here in Keene, NH and might charge 5 bucks a plate. What do you think?
We are  renting a room here in Keene but we are looking for our own place as well. I realy love Keene!! I never thaught I would ever say I actualy like a city. Wow! I would so love to live in city center here in Keene! Its a great place!
I think I am a better cook then I thaught I was!

It sounds like you have settled right into your new home! Good for you and best of luck! I haven't done too much cooking lately - we've been really busy and have eaten out or just had simple meals that don't require much time or preparation.

For some unknown reason poblano chiles are also sold as pasilla chiles. You may want to try them. Good luck in your new town.

About Me
I was born in cadiz, Spain but was raised on the wonderfull island of Okinawa. We moved to United States in 1972 at age 8. I am learning to cook and care for my self at age 46. This IS a chalinge!!
My favorite things to cook
Wow, so many!! I love the foods of Okinawa and Spain the best but I do make mostly Mexican food. I do live about an hour away from Mexico afterall. The food of the South is great, mum's kin moved to VA in 1632. Chinese food is allso awasome!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Hmm, maby mum making real fried chicken(I dont eat chicken any more)and making greens and corn bread. Mum was from the rural South and knew how to cook! Da was from canada but I dont think he was a cook.
My cooking triumphs
Finly baked bread that was good. NOT a brick or raw. People evan asked for the recipe!
My cooking tragedies
Are only lesons. A learning tool.
