Well, I made the beans. they are good. I am still looking for more of a Mexican flavor but they are good.
I want to clean and decorate but my mind keeps getting in the way with things to think about. Any one want to come over and help me clean?

Have you tried adding cumin? I don't know much about Mexican food, but it seems like a lot of cumin, cilantro, lime and chilis. I prefer Indian food if I'm looking for spicy. Have you ever had it? I think you would like Indian naan- it's a flat bread that you pan fry. It's so good with garlic in it. Do you have a timer, even on your watch or microwave? Set the timer for two minutes and do nothing but clean for two minutes. Say over and over as you do, "Gotta clean, gotta clean". Anyone can focus for two minutes, and you can work your way up from there. Speaking or singing as you go will help block the other stuff out. You can do it, Seamus- just take one small step at a time. :)

About Me
I was born in cadiz, Spain but was raised on the wonderfull island of Okinawa. We moved to United States in 1972 at age 8. I am learning to cook and care for my self at age 46. This IS a chalinge!!
My favorite things to cook
Wow, so many!! I love the foods of Okinawa and Spain the best but I do make mostly Mexican food. I do live about an hour away from Mexico afterall. The food of the South is great, mum's kin moved to VA in 1632. Chinese food is allso awasome!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Hmm, maby mum making real fried chicken(I dont eat chicken any more)and making greens and corn bread. Mum was from the rural South and knew how to cook! Da was from canada but I dont think he was a cook.
My cooking triumphs
Finly baked bread that was good. NOT a brick or raw. People evan asked for the recipe!
My cooking tragedies
Are only lesons. A learning tool.
