On Friday, I was able to talk to my case maneger from Adult Protective Services(APS). She was very nice! It looks like I am finly going to get a "provider." I dont know why it is so hard for me to keep things clean and neat, but its ben like this my whole life! When we were living on Okinawa, mum took ALL my toys, etc and placed in two garbage bags. She let me keep ONE bag, and I could not exchange from one bag to the next. Now, at 46, I am STILL that way! But its looking like I am going to finly get some help.
I dont know why I am this way. How hard can it be to wash a pot or bowel? I just dont understand!
But this IS a positive! I get the help I need, and some one has a job!!
Lucky is scared of the cat. She will NOT let my boy any where near the area where the babys are. She is a sweet girl, but now she is mean to Lucky:(
When I have some one HELP me clean, I will be back to cooking!!

I know that sometimes when you get stuck in a rut it often feels easier to just stay down than to get back up...kudos to you for getting the help you need!

I know, from having depression for years and years myself, you have to MAKE yourself do stuff around the house! Don't look at the whole picture...just start with a corner or small area and go from there! Even if you just do one thing a day, it's a start...but you can't let it build up like that, that will make you even more depressed than what you are!

About Me
I was born in cadiz, Spain but was raised on the wonderfull island of Okinawa. We moved to United States in 1972 at age 8. I am learning to cook and care for my self at age 46. This IS a chalinge!!
My favorite things to cook
Wow, so many!! I love the foods of Okinawa and Spain the best but I do make mostly Mexican food. I do live about an hour away from Mexico afterall. The food of the South is great, mum's kin moved to VA in 1632. Chinese food is allso awasome!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Hmm, maby mum making real fried chicken(I dont eat chicken any more)and making greens and corn bread. Mum was from the rural South and knew how to cook! Da was from canada but I dont think he was a cook.
My cooking triumphs
Finly baked bread that was good. NOT a brick or raw. People evan asked for the recipe!
My cooking tragedies
Are only lesons. A learning tool.
