To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
I have been on a search for the best blueberry muffins for a few years now. My husband LOVES blueberry muffins and since I tried this recipe he won't let me try any others! Him and my kids all prefer brown sugar in the topping instead of regular sugar though. A few hints, especially if you are new to making blueberry muffins. You have a to have a good nonstick pan & use cooking spray!!! If you use a cheap pan it might work the first time or 2 but by the thrid time around or so the muffins will be a mess stuck in the pan. I use a texas size muffin cup pan for extra large muffins so I have to add an extra 5 minutes on the cooking time and to ensure the bottoms don't get over done I put an empty cookie sheet on the bottom rack of my oven.

Wonderful recipe! I have 8 kids and even the pickiest loved this recipe!!! The only thing I'd do differently is double the sauce but only because I used 2 smaller pan...

Italian Bread Bowls

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
These turned out wonderful! My husband and kids were skeptical at first but now they are begging me to make these again! I served Cream of broccoli & cheese soup in these and the bread is such an amazing compliment to the soup! I am trying them tonight with beef stew! These were very easy to make and I'm not sure about the previous comments about "molding the dough to bowl shape" but they turned out great as traditional bread bowls for me!!!

This is definitely more of a "dark chocolate" flavor and my KIDS AND friends rave about it! If you want a milder chocolate flavor you can always use milk chocolate chips. I also use a heavy pan on the stove instead of the microwave because it's easier for me to not over cook the chocolate that way. ENJOY!!!
