Chicken Breasts Pierre

This was an awesome recipe! I had every ingredient with the exception of the brown sugar. I read through the reviews, which is always helpful, prior to cooking it up to look for any tips or suggestions that would sound good. I did read one review that stated they substituted the brown sugar with honey, which was so clever, especially since I didn't have any brown sugar on hand. I also, don't care for stew tomatoes as I'm not a fan of large chunks of tomatoes in any of my dishes, I rather prefer to have small pieces so that there is a piece of tomato in every bite, so I opted for a can of diced tomatoes. Since chicken breasts, have the issue of being thick on one side and slender on another, I decided to slice three chicken breasts in half lengthwise, to get a thinner cut of chicken breasts so that they would cook evenly and so I would also have the six pieces as is suggested with the original recipe. I paired the chicken recipe with rice, and cooked the rice in a little bit of chicken broth, smothered the Chicken Pierre over the rice on each persons plate and added a side of broccoli to finish the plates, and the family loved it! There was just a hint of spice, as the honey was a nice pairing in the recipe to give it a good balance. My 2 year old even loved it! That should tell you, that its really not that spicy. This will be included in my rotation. :)

Honey-Spice Drumsticks

It turned out FANTASTIC!! Really good, and it was a big hit with the family. Kids didn't complain neither did the hubby. :) I did as one other reviewer had done; I used orange marmalade since I didn't have any oranges on hand to zest. I also didn't have any rosemary so that was omitted from the recipe, but it turned out great nonetheless! This will definitely be a repeat.

Sweet and Sour Turkey Patties

It was hit! I did make one change, and that is I didn't add the oil at all, seeing as I don't think its necessary and it tasted just fine! I had rice on the side with it so that I could eat some of the meat and sauce with the rice....sssooooo good! This will be in my dinner rotation!

Maryanne's Cornbread

It tasted just like regular cornbread...I didn't get the 'cakey' cornbread I was looking for. I was trying to find something similar to MariCallendar's cornbread which is basically just like a cake and oh so good.

Crumb-Coated Chicken Thighs

This was ssssooooo good! I would say it was the best crumb-coated chicken recipe I have used by far! The recipe will definitely become a regular in my rotation of recipes for dinner. Oh, and I didn't have any cumin(ran out) so that was the only seasoning that was omitted but, it still turned out very good. It had the right amount of spice to it...I didn't change a thing with regards to the spice I didn't have anymore of.

Tomato 'n' Shrimp Pasta

This recipe was great! I made some small changes to the recipe: 1. I didn't use spaghetti pasta, instead Angel hair pasta. 2. instead of the 3 tablespoons of tomato paste, I used about half of the small can to get it the sauce to the thickness I liked so that it wouldn't be so watery. 3. I omitted the sugar, and mushrooms. 4. Instead of just regular can of diced tomatoes, I got the Zesty diced tomatoes with bits of chiles in it for spice. Though my boyfriend didn't really care for the recipe (he's a picky eater) it was really good. Loved it, and I'll be making it for myself again.

Teriyaki Turkey Meatballs

I decided to use this recipe to make Teriyaki Turkey Burgers, and they turned out better than I thought! The only thing different I did was not coat the meat with more bread crumbs and then cooked the burgers in the oven! They turned out so moist and topping the burgers with slices of pineapple was just the right touch to this awesome meat!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Great recipe! I used 1 cup of brwn sugar which made it much sweeter, and used a teaspoon to sccoop out individual cookies, rolled them into balls and used a fork to make the markings but only smashing them slightly so that they wouldn't dry out while baking!!
