White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies
I wanted to make white chocolate raspberry cookies but I couldn't find a recipe for what I wanted, so I found this recipe for white chocolate cranberry and followed it, except I substituted fresh raspberries for the cranberries and they came out great.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes
I just moved outside the US and you can't just find premade "just add water" pancake mix (or any pancake mix for that matter) in the stores here, which is what I usually use because I'm lazy. But I really love making pancakes and not being able to buy a mix didn't stop me from making them. I found this recipe online and after I figured out what the name for "baking powder" was here, I got all the ingredients and made the pancakes. They came out really awesome. And they were not too difficult to make either. When I return the the US I will keep this recipe on hand for when I want more than the "just-add-water" kind can give me.

Cincinnati Chili I
Being from the east coast, I didn't even know what Cincinnati chili was until I had it at Hard Times (local DC area chain). I was never really a fain of chili in general until I tried their Cincinnati style chili. It was so good that I went to look up how to make it myself. And on my second attempt I found this recipe. I boil the beef in the broth first like another reviewer has stated. Then I add everything else and simmer for a couple hours. It's been absolutely awesome each time. I love making this recipe, and I now actually have found a type of chili I like.
