World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
This recipe was OK. I thought it required way too much work for the way it tasted. I'll stick with my own recipe for a while.

Ramen Slaw

I love this recipe. I have been making it for years with red onions and rice wine vinegar. Plus 3 crisp crumbled bacon strips!

Homemade Wonton Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
I absolutely loved this recipe. I think it's kinda of a pain to make, but because it tastes so good I will make it again. My mother-in-law said she would like more broth and I do agree. I will make it with 12 cups of broth next time. Also, I halved the sesame oil, only because of my family. I personally love sesame oil! Will make again, definitely.

It was just too bland to me. Won't make again.

Slow Cooker Guisado Verde

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2011
This is a really awesome recipe. I added two cans of drained Northern beans and a cup and a half of long grain rice. I use two teaspoons cumin and two teaspoons of chili power in place of the spices the recipe called for. I also used chicken broth in place of the water.

Angel's Old Fashioned Beef Stew

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2011
Just awesome! I followed all the reviews and added 2 tsps more salt, plus 1 tsp thyme and 1 tsp sage. I only used a small can of tomatoes and will use a large can next time. Didn't add the rosemary as my family is not fond of it. Will definitely make again!

Simple, Classic Chicken Potpie

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
Absolutely wonderful! I will never buy pre-made again. I am actually going to make my own "little" pot pies (like they sell in the stores) so I can have one whenever I want.

Egg Noodles

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
These are soooo.... good. No more chicken and dumplings for me. Just make you sure cut them narrow, they do expand a bit. Also, I didn't have time to dry mine and they worked just fine moist.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2012
I have to agree with the person who said this is the worst way I have every prepared salmon. I followed the recipe exactly. Bland. I also ruined my salmot fillets and wasted my other ingredients. Yuck.

Italian-Style Round Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
I doubled the tomato sauce and spices. I added 2 cans of 4 oz. mushrooms drained. Since I used tenderized meat, I didn't simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Just brought to a boil, then added the rest of the ingredients. I simmered for the 30-45 minutes and it was awesome!

I used a lot more cheese because I'm a cheese lover and also used chicken wing meat because I'm all for saving pennies and it was wonderful! Will definitely make it again!
