Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2008
Very good. I used this on a Greek salad. I added a little Feta to this and blended it in the blender, slowing adding the olive oil which helps it from seperating.

Awesome! Appears harder than it really is. Very simple to make. Huge hit. Taste just like the real thing.

Eileen's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2002
This was very good. I only used 1/2 the onion packet and it was still almost too much onion flavor. Taste great the next day!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2002
These were fantastic!!! My suggestion is to melt the shortening before adding the chocolate. The 1st batch I made I didn’t do this and it stayed clumpy. These were a huge hit at my party. Nobody could believe that they were homemade. I even used the store brand choc. Chips. Easy to make, highly recommended!!!

Flank Steak with Garlic Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2002
...This was awesome!!!!...I too added 1/2 cup of mushrooms and 1 can of the beef broth. It takes 45 min or so to reduce the wine sauce, and that is boiling it on high the entire time, so allow for this. Highly recommended.

Cookie in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2001
This is fabulous. I did arrange the ingredients as follows, white sugar, oat meal, Krispies, white chips, choc. chips, brown sugar, flour. It was hard to find the Wide Mouth jars. I went to 10 stores, but Albertson's had them. It really does need to be the wide mouth jars or you will not be able to smash down the ingredients, and fit the entire recipe. These tasted wonderful.

Pumpkin Scones

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2001
I would not reccomend this recipe. It was very bland, flat, & chewy. I added banking soda on my 2nd batch, which did help it to rise but didn't help the blandness. I sprinkled on a maple glaze, made with powdered sugar & a touch of maple syrup, which gave it some flavor.
