Moroccan Peach Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2012
I added a little cinnamon and 3 sweet potatoes, cut into medallions at the beginning. This recipe has a unique flavor that I loved. Served on white rice with the pan sauce. It turned out perfect.

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2012
Disappointed in these muffins enough that I have deleted them from my recipe box. Very odd flavor and a little dry. Followed direction as written.

Buttermilk Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2012
Prepared the Buttermilk Cinnamon rolls last night. Took them out of the refrigerator about an hour before I baked them. I followed the directions exactly. I did add a cream cheese frosting. I can't imagine how bland they would of been without it. The texture is biscuit like. I should of read more of the former reviews. I will not bake these again as cinnamon rolls but with some changes I think it might make a great dinner roll? Use butter, herbs & some cheeses with a nice garlic butter glaze. If you want a light melt in your mouth cinnamon roll, this isn't it.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2012
OMG! I was one of the over 200,000 who had saved this recipe and 2 nights ago I finally prepared it and allowed it to sit overnight in the refrigerator. Last night I served it for dinner. I followed the recipe to the letter (just soaked the noodles) and it really is the BEST Lasagna I have ever eaten! I am so excited to make this again and again.

Nutty Goat Cheese Bites

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2012
Awesome in it's simplicity! I made a variety of choices along with the original recipe. Made fresh cranberry sauce to replace grapes. Blue Cheese is VERY different than Goat Cheese. I love it and added a few crumbles to the goat. Lightly toasted the baguette slices for extra crunch. May try the glazed pecan suggestion next time?

Butternut and Acorn Squash Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2012
I love Butternut Squash. This was my first attempt at soup and it turned out great. I read several reviews and cut the brown sugar to 1/4 C. I used the cinnamon. I have a feeling it is even going to be better tomorrow?

Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
Hope I can find fresh Cranberries all year round. Great Sauce. Not just for the Holiday's. Served it with goat cheese and pita chips. Also great on sliced chicken or turkey sandwiches. My favorite is on chicken salad on a croissant. Oh, it just gets better the next day or 2.

Creamy Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
This is one of the best pies I have ever made. I followed a couple of suggestions and added cinnamon & vanilla to the sour cream sauce. I used brown sugar for the topping. I think I added a little cinnamon, too. I put foil over the whole pie for the first 20 minutes in the oven, then removed for the remaining 35 minutes. Helps the crust not burn. I let it cool and put it in the refrigerator over night. I had my first slice for breakfast. :)

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
This is the BEST Banana Bread I have ever eaten! So moist and delicious. The first time I followed the directions exactly. Perfect! The second time I used pecan & added about a dozen chopped dates. Perfect! I am baking it again today and plan on adding mini chocolate chips. Why Not? Thanks Janet!
