Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2011
Fabulous! I used 1/2 jar of roasted red pepper from Trader Joe's instead of the red pepper, chopped button mushrooms, and a little more garlic, a little less cream, and no extra salt. Other than those changes, followed recipe exactly. Wonderful - it REALLY does taste like something you'd get from Cheesecake Factory. Thanks much!

Herbed Corn

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
Great recipe to dress up plain ol'corn! My family really liked it and said "mmm, good corn Mom, what did you do?" I only used 2 T butter and poured the melted butter into the herb mixture and let sit for a couple minutes before tossing it into the corn. I used dried herbs - still it was really good:)

Spinach Pasta Salad

Very good. I'm bringing this to a pot luck tomorrow-I think I'll be the guest with the rave reviews! Thank you! Tweaked your recipe just a little: I left out the black olives (personal preference), added 3 chopped Roma tomatoes, and used 6oz of light feta. I added a little chopped fresh basil and a couple of chopped leaves of fresh mint. I love being able to go out to my garden at this time of year and just pick a little fresh herbs:)

Lemony Pork Piccata

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
One of my favorite pork recipes! I follow the directions as written, but I then put the pork with the sauce over it in a low temp oven (300 deg) covered for 30 minutes. The pork is tender as can be!

Excellent! I use 1/2 the amount of sugar and it's still plenty sweet enough for our taste.

Herbed Chicken Parmesan Recipe - MyRecipes.com

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
Tasty and healthy weeknight dinner. Make it even easier by browning the chicken and then layering in a 9x13 casserole and baking for 30 mins or so.

Creamy Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
Great change from the usual processed cheese and rice casserole. I used lite cream cheese and added garlic, onion powder and pepper to the sauce. When the sauce thickened, I tossed in about 1/4 cup of grated parmesan. Really, really good-thanks!

I've made these before with a similar recipe. Scrumptious! Does anyone know if they can be frozen? I'd like to bake now for guests for the holidays. Any tips would be appreciated! Happy Holidays!

Adrienne's Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2007
Very similar to a recipe I've been using for a while. Try adding chopped red onion, 1-2 T chopped fresh cilantro and some chopped peanuts as a garnish. Great recipe - thanks for the dill idea!

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2007
Wonderful!..and so easy to prepare. I prepared the marinade last night (just took about 5 mins). Then marinated the salmon in the morning before work and had hubbie grill on medium heat for about 10 mins. I served it up with red skinned mashed potatoes and the Mandarin Asian Salad from this site. Yummy! Definitely a keeper - thanks.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2007
Fantastic! I took other's advice and only used 1 tsp salt in the marinade and none for the sauce. I like salt and it was plenty flavorful enough. For the sauce, I used 2 tsp. garam masala (penzeys.com has awesome spices), 3 cloves garlic, 2 cans of tomato sauce, 1 1/2 cups cream, 1/2 tsp cumin. I also added 3 chopped plum tomatoes to heated through sauce for some texture. Next time I'll add some fresh mushrooms too. Excellent dish - better than we can get in Indian restaurants here in Cleveland area. My friends were thrilled! TY:) Add Traders Joe's naan bread and some saffron rice - heaven!

Wow! The dressing is fabulous! It does make a ton of dressing, so I'll cut it in half next. Thanks so much for sharing this. Definitely a keeper!

Caribbean Holiday Shrimp

I wasn't crazy about this recipe - sorry! Thought the shrimp was very bland and didn't have much flavor at all. Won't be making this again.

My husband's not normally a quiche fan, but we both really enjoyed this. I used the "light" evaporated milk and it turned out just fine. Thanks!

Absolutely The Best Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2002
This really is the best shrimp scampi! My husband and I loved it. I made it with the frozen already peeled shrimp and it was still melt in your mouth tender. Thanks! Bit time consuming because of fiddling with the fresh parsley. Does anyone have a quick easy way to mince parsley?! Will definitely make again!

Wow! I made this for a dinner party and it was a big hit. The sauce was yummy and very rich. Everyone said it was restaurant quality. I'm notoriously picky about my food and I loved this. Thanks!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2001
This was just okay for me. It tasted very "processed" in that it was salty and I don't think the combination of flavors melded quite right. Not awful, but this won't be on my rotation - sorry!
