Salsa Chicken

So easy and very tasty - my niece and nephew loved it!! I prefer using boneless, skinless chicken thighs rather than breast meat. Also, I use the Taco Seasoning I recipe also found on this site.

Apple Turnovers

Great easy recipe! Next time I will remember to set out the puff pastry much earlier (40 min to thaw). I would use either smaller apples or only 3 instead of 4. I had too much filling left over, which is fine 'cause I can always use it to make an apple crisp. Thanks for the recipe!

Roasted Cauliflower Soup

Great recipe - will make again. I did not use the sherry as I did not have any. I must have used too much flour because it was too thick at first. I ended up adding another 2 cups of milk and 1 cup of water just to make it the right consistancy.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Tasted great! I substituted evaporated milk instead of regular milk, carrots instead of celery, and also chicken stock instead of water and bouillon.

Tomato Soup I

I used only 1 cup of cream and I think that may have been reduced further to 1/2 cup. I also used fresh tomatoes from the garden and blended the mixture after simmering. Great recipe! Will use again!

Neapolitan Cookies I

These cookies were great - just like the ones my Grandma used to make for Christmas. I added chopped marchino cherries to the 'red' and a little cocoa to the chocolate to get more chocolate flavor.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

This cookie during out moist, chewy and not overly-sweet, which I liked. I used French Vanilla pudding for this recipe. It tasted very good, but it colored the dough a strange yellowish color. Wouldn't recommend it for presentation sake. I pressed the dough down a bit before baking since the cookie did not seem to spread as much as I liked. Will definitely make this recipe again!

German Spaetzle Dumplings

This recipe was wonderful with our Beef Strogonoff! It was a little tricky to make at first but we got the hang of it fast. One tip is to be careful not to have the strainer/colander too close to the boiling water else it may cook the dough before it goes through - making it a little more difficult.

Lemon Blueberry Bread

This bread is delicious! Everyone at the potluck loved it! I also substituted powdered sugar in the glaze as other had done. Next time I will use cranberries as I think it will be just as good if not better! Thanks for the recipe!
