Smokey Jalapeno Cheese Dip

Easy to throw together and delicious! I have been looking for this recipe as our local butcher sells something just like this. I have made it as written and I have made it with slight variations. I make it with finely grated cheddar (mixes in better) liquid uber hot sauce and put in Christopholofigus infamous jalapeño relish (recipe on this site). My kids like it with celery sticks! Thanks again for posting this! YUM!

Carrot Cake Oatmeal

Yummy!! Used my Zojirushi rice cooker and put everything in up to the pecans. Delish and easy for my family who eat breakfast at different times of the day. Family ate it all the first day, but should keep in your cooker for at least 2 days.

Slow Cooker Fruit, Nuts, and Spice Oatmeal

After purchasing a Costco sized bag of steel cut oats, I searched AR for recipes and I came across this recipe. Delicious! Made this in my Zojirushi rice cooker as written on the porridge setting, no problem with burning and it was done in about 45 min. I added the oats and liquids to the pot to let the oats soften while I chopped apples and nuts. It is a little loose when you first open the cooker, but tightens up after sitting in the bowl for a few minutes. Also good because it will keep in the cooker for 2 or 3 days (if it lasts that long).

Homemade Dishwasher Soap

I love this! Thanks Molly. Found this recipe quite by accident, now I don't know how I would do with out it. I look at the price of dishwasher soap in the store and scoff at it. I have hard water, so I do use vinegar in my rinse and no clouding problem. Another use I have found another use for this is I put it in an old parmesan cheese shaker and I have added oil of eucalyptus (shake together thoroughly) I use it to clean my sinks and non stick pots. Use rubber gloves because the washing soda is a little rough on your hands. I have found citric acid (to replace the koolaid pkgs) on line at Nuts On Line, they have the best price so far and best delivery. Use essential oils to scent cleaner and have experimenting!

Fabulous Homemade Bread For the Food Processor

Wonderful bread! Good texture with a nice light crust. I made it in my bread maker on the dough cycle then divided into 4 long sandwich shop style loaves. I baked them on greased cookie sheets for about half an hour. Kids never wanted sandwiches at home because we didn't have the 'right bread'. I will be making this on a regular basis, thanks!

Oat Waffles

YUM!!! these were easy and so delicious, they were light and crisp. Used my food processor to grind up some quick cooking oats and also replaced 1/3 cup of egg white substitute for each egg. Made just enough for 4 of us to devour 2 waffles each, next time I will definitely double and freeze the extra waffles.

Lemon Chicken Piccata

Only made one small change added fresh sliced mushrooms and let them cook down with the second reduction. Served with rice and broccoli this made a nice easy light meal that the kids ate up!

CCRyder's Smoker Rib Rub

This was a good rub and doesn't have to be exact when measured. But the nutmeg I will leave out next time, just had an aftertaste that didn't sit well with ribs....Omit the nutmeg and you will really enjoy this

Hearty Halibut Chowder

Pomegranate Margarita

Very fresh and tasty! Tried it one time with 'all natural' pom juice, it wasn't bold enough. So the next time I made it I used a can of frozen juice and reconstituted it with only half the amount of water required. Also I used superfine sugar in place of the powdered sugar. Powdered sugar adds a taste that I don't personally like.

Mom's Rum Cake

Beer Margaritas

Easy peasy limeade squeazy!! I was leary of making this, but after reading the reviews and talking to people who have made these, wow! What a pleasant surprise and yummy too. I added half Fresca half water, that was the only thing I did differently. Will be making these for Superbowl tomorrow. Would be good as a tailgate party drink.

Garlic Mayonnaise

This is very easy to make on the spur of the moment, I had just bought some fresh artichokes and needed something to dip them in. Used super fresh eggs and added a little bit of lemon and zest to it. Awesome!!
