Caramel Chocolate Corn

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2013
Incredible! I used honey instead of corn syrup, made the caramel on the stove, baked the caramel corn at 300 for 8 minutes, put it back in the bowl and mixed the chocolate on top of all of it because I could not get it to drizzle properly. This is so ridiculously delicious! We plan to make a bunch of it and give it away to teachers/neighbors for Christmas presents.

Farmer's Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2012
Delicious! I added garlic powder, oregano, and dijon mustard to the milk/egg mixture as suggested by other reviewers. I also used nitrate/nitrite free packaged lunch meat. My family loved this, even my picky 7 year old son!

Puppy Chow

Reviewed: May 20, 2011
Just made this after my son made it in preschool and brought some home. I used Crispix cereal, Jif natural peanut butter, added 1/4 c butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla after butter, pb, and choc chips melted. I melted everything in a large pot on the stove then dumped the cereal right into it and stirred it up (less dishes). Dumped the powdered sugar on top, put the lid on the pot, then shook it up to coat. Super easy and absolutely delicious! I'm taking some to a party and saving some for us :).

Fudge

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
This fudge is ridiculous...in a good way! I couldn't believe how easy, quick, and delicious it was. My kids and I made this for all their teachers and our neighbors for Valentine's Day. I doubled the batch and didn't have a bowl big enough to put all the inbredients in the microwave so I used a nonstick pan on the stovetop and it was super quick and easy. I can't wait to try all the variations that others have suggested.

Apple Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
Made this for Easter dinner and it was delicious. I cut the amount of servings down to 8 and I used it with 7 or 8 ham slices instead of a whole ham. Just put it all in a casserole dish, covered it, and baked at 375 for about 20 minutes. The flavor was fantastic. I made this with "skinny scalloped potatoes" from this site and the flavors blended nicely. I will make this again.

Skinny Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
Just made this for Easter dinner. It was a hit with the whole family. I had to cook the broth mixture for about 10-12 minutes as it was not thick enough in the time alotted in the recipe. It was a bit runny when it first came out, but it did thicken nicely upon standing, and the runniness did not affect the flavor.
