How exciting to have a blog about Food? this is my element I love to cook, experiment and have plan fun cooking. So I will enjoy sharing my thoughts. For a few days I've started to work on a Dinner Meal Planning menu, for so long I've been bad with spending way to much money buying food and not being sensible about planning. Sunday-Thursday I will plan Friday and Saturday FFYS (Fend For Your Self) Motto with the economy and job security not what it once was, it's time to reel in the spending.  Thanks to Allrecipes I will plan the weekly meals. Will make a fruit salad tomorrow, weather will be around 90 or above so the sald will refresh the kids.

Having a plan and going with it will help. In your planning, you might want to plan for the unexpected, as well. Have a shelf emergency meal. You have kids? Have something on hand that could be used if someone brings home sniffles (or the dreaded tummy upset). Saw your blog after this one, so you're on your way. Hope it goes well and you enjoy the freedom and flexibility that CAN exist even in a planned approach.
