Traci's Adobo Seasoning

I had mixed this up a little while ago, and just haven't had time to try it, until tonight. My husband grilled chicken and I put some pieces aside for me and Tracie's Adobo Seasoning. AWESOME!!! Thanks for a wonderful, easy, very tasty recipe. Can't wait to try it on other thngs.

Coconut Shrimp I

I made this recipe for my husband who loves coconut shrimp. He enjoyed it, but he didn't act like he would want it very often. They were good, but a little time consuming and messy for a weeknight meal. The sauce from a previous reviewer with the horseradish, orange marmalade, and dijon mustard was over the top, however. Thanks for a good recipe.

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Let me start out by saying this is a 5 star recipe. The reason I gave it four is because I did not use the sun dried tomatoes. They were quite expensive and for a recipe I had never tried, I wasn't going to put the money towards it. I used a friend as a "test dummy" he didn't mind. It was delicious!!! Next time and there will be one, the sun dried tomatoes will be tried. We both agreed it was awesome as it was, but we decided we must try it again with the sun dried tomatoes. A perfect excuse to make it again. Thanks for a wonderful recipe!!!!!!!!

Buttery Soft Pretzels

These are delicious! Baked at 400-415 for 8 min. I didn't use all the flour, maybe 4 cups. I need to practice rolling this out more, but the taste is right on!!!!!! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Black Bean Hummus

I followed the directions except for the olives. The texture was very loose and didn't thicken. The taste was just so-so. I thought it was just me, but a friend of mine who is one of my "test dummies" for food, also said that it didn't taste bad, but it lacked something and the texture was way off. Thanks for the recipe. I at first gave this recipe 3 stars but ended up giving it four stars because of ease of preparation and easily found ingredients.

Vanilla Bean Cheesecake

I appreciate the recipe, but the artifical cookies and the real vanilla were off to me. I think it would be better with graham cracker crust. I put three vanilla beans in the cake and left it out of the crust like many suggested. I will keep looking but thanks for the recipe.

Baked Kale Chips

A friend of mine who has Celiac's disease made these and brought some to work for me to try. They are very good and crunchy. The only problem I found, was they were a little bitter after you chewed them a little while. I dont' know if it is me or that is the way they are supposed to taste, or if it was the Kale itself. (Seasonal). I thought the recipe was easy, and healthy. I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Coconut-Lime Cheesecake with Mango Coulis

I made this today. I didn't have ginger snaps so I used vanilla wafers. My store also didn't have any mangoes so I didn't get to make the coulis that goes with it. I followed the baking directions exactly(thought they were weird) but the cheesecake came out perfect. Like others, it is a dense, not fluffy cheesecake. Thin but dense. I didn't get an overwhelming taste of two layers like others said. I could definately taste the lime layer and the coconut from the crust but not so much the coconut flavoring from the top layer. The recipe was very easy to follow, and easy to make and bake, but I have other cheesecakes that I like a lot better. It is a very refreshing summer dessert and everyone should try it. Thanks for the recipe.

Cilantro-Lime Dressing

I made this recipe as written. All I could taste was the over powering taste of olive oil. I will try this recipe again, but did throw it out the first time I made it. I refrigerated it for a couple of hours. I will try it again because I love cilantro and lime. Thanks for the recipe.

Dry Buttermilk Ranch Mix

Right now I am giving it a 4 star rating. I made it as stated, but I needed to chop up the ingredients and there was something missing. I used it with milk and mayo. I think I will use some sour cream next time. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

Traditional Mashed Potatoes

This is basically the recipe I make, but since I changed one thing, I gave it four stars instead of 5. This is a very good recipe, but I put chicken bouillon granules in my potato water while the potatoes are cooking. The granules just give the right flavor to the potatoes to make them perfect. Thanks for a wonderful recipe.

Bananas Foster II

This is a delicious recipe. You definately need the vanilla ice cream because it is so rich but it is sooo worth it. I will definately be making this recipe again. I followed the recipe exactly, except I only had Pineapple rum(tropical, eh?) and it was wonderful. Thanks for a wonderful, easy, inexpensive recipe.

Cranberry Orange Cookies

I made these yesterday and might I say that the dough was delicious, the baked cookies were delicious and the frosting was delicious. I frosted some and left others plain. Other than using Craisins I followed the recipe to a "T". Very good recipe. Will be making these again. Thanks for the recipe. And easy. I had all the ingredients on hand. Very easy and accessible recipe.

Boneless Buffalo Wings

I need to try this recipe again. I followed directions but put the chicken in fridge for about an hour in a bowl, not on a rack. When it was time to cook them I also used the deep fry basket instead of just dropping them in the grease. To make a long story short(I know, too late) they stuck like a mother. I had to pry them out of the basket, torn to pieces. I had company and they got a good laugh. I will try them again but without using the basket. The flavor of what we did taste was good, but by that time I was beyond irritated. I will try again. When I calm down. Thanks for the recipe.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

I followed the recipe. Very bland. As written I didn't care for it. I have had better, but it just needs a little tweeking. Like pounding the chicken, a little more spices, more cheese, and maybe the sauce over the chicken instead of just laying in it. I needed a quick recipe for lasts nights dinner and chose this one, thank you but I will look for others.

Best Brownies

The ease of this recipe is a 5. I had all the ingredients already at the house. I did not make the frosting, because I don't like it on brownies. The batter is delicious and the brownies are very, very good. I would definately make again. The reason for the 4 stars is that I didn't make the frosting for the brownies. Thanks for the recipe.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

I made this cake day before yesterday. I have never made it before or ever tasted one. I followed the recipe to a "T" although it did seem like a lot of milk. Then I did something I was told never to do. I took a recipe that I have never tasted to a local Mexican restaurant and gave the cake to them to try. They loved it. (Or they told me they did) They wanted the recipe. Then they told me that I needed to make one for my husband and keep it for us. They did tell me that it was good the first day, but much better the second day. The woman I made it for only got one piece. But hey!!! I made it, they enjoyed it, and I am going to make this recipe again. Thanks for the recipe.

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

I made these yesterday. I was really questioning how they were going to turn out. They are delicious. A bit time consuming, but very good. I just left off the black olives because I don't care for them, other wise followed the recipe to a "T". Next time however, I might use Rotissere Chicken from the deli to save a little time. Thanks for the recipe and lunch.
