Blackened Tilapia with Secret Hobo Spices

Great! My husband and I both loved this. We left the spices as is in the recipe, but we both like spicy foods so it worked for us. We did add the lemon to the skillet at the end of cooking the tilapia in order to warm it and to make sure we had juices to pour over the bread. Delicious!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Fantastic! Followed the advice of several others with the poultry seasoning, garlic powder, and extra broth. Likely would have been dry without the extra liquid. I used 2 frozen deep dish pie crusts and it worked out perfectly!

World's Best Lasagna

Delicious! Turned out really, really well. I follow the instrutions almost exactly, but found noodles at the grocery store that didn't need to be boiled ahead of time...so saved a step! I put 4 on each layer for a total of 8 noodles used. If I were to make this again, I'd probably cut down on the added salt, and I might try substituting in some diced or stewed tomatoes instead of all the paste/sauce...my husband really likes tomato chunks!

Eggnog French Toast

These were great, but the eggnog flavor is a little overpowering (less so once you add syrup). Next time I think I'll do half eggnog, half regular milk. Yummy regardless :)

Marinated Flank Steak

Everyone LOVES this marinade. I've been known to let it sit a full 24 hours...what a wonderful result! The oil can congeal a bit depending on how cold the fridge is, but don't let that scare you away!

Holiday Brie en Croute

Made this for a dinner party last night & everyone loved it! I made it with an 8oz wheel of cheese & the whole thing was gone pretty quickly! I followed the recipe, except for using less dough (obviously because I had less cheese). Worked well!
