Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

Great sauce according to my guests. Doesn't look like the picture but still lovely. It does make a ton! Leftovers would be good over ice cream or spread on toast.

Absolutely Delicious Green Bean Casserole from Scratch

Great addition to the Thanksgiving menu. So much better than the canned version. TEN times better! Might try making my own fried onions next time.

Baked Brussels Sprouts

Made this for Thanksgiving and the folks that like brussels sprouts really enjoyed it. The pine nuts and blue cheese are great pairing. Wouldn't change a thing.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
This recipe is simply amazing! I didn't have worcestershire, so I used low sodium soy sauce and it turned out wonderfully. You must use a decent BBQ sauce and dressing for best taste. I also left some pieces whole as the shredded can get a bit intense. Excellent with whole small red potatoes with lots of garlic.

Strawberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
Fantastic, Amazing and Beautiful! I was a little intimidated but this was pretty simple. I did cheat a little and bought a pre-made graham crust but I followed the rest exactly. It really was stunning to look at and tasted better than store bought. I highly recommend this one. It was great for Turkey Day. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Insanely Amazing Jalapeno Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
This was great. I did have to bake longer as the parmesan wasn't melted yet. I also used Veganaise in place of mayo for some family members but I think it would be even better with the real deal. Also, the longer the dip sits the spicier it seems to get. That was fine for me but a little spicy for some guests. Another keeper!!!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
Absolutely wonderful! Kind of a cross between a cookie and a cake. Nicely spiced and I did have to thin the icing a bit. I can't wait to make again, even though they are a little time consuming to make. This is a KEEPER!!!

Over the Fire Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
My bf and I thought these were great! I peeled and thinly sliced the potatoes and cut the slices in half. I highly recommend the medium heat as they will burn on the bottom if the coals are too hot. These were perfect in about 15 minutes. Also, make sure to grease the inside of the foil really well. Next time I will try Cream of Chicken soup and add the green onions. TIP: Try sprinkling a little powdered parmesan on the potatoes once they are off the grill, wonderful!

Zucchini Patties

This is a real keeper! I used a smoked mozzerella and it really gave them a nice flavor. I would recommend mincing the onion. All in all these were fantastic with just a dollop of sour cream on top.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
I will definately be making these again. The only thing I would change is the amount of salt. Next time I will try half the salt called for. I also marinated the chicken overnight but I will try the 30 minutes recommened next time. Interesting mix of ingredients but it really is good.
