Hello all fellow bloggers, Please check out my pasta recipe and let me know what you think. This sauce is a healthy choice already but can be made even healthier by choosing to use lean ground turkey or chicken and using whole grain pasta. Grated romano cheese has a sharper, saltier flavour… MORE

About this Cook
I started cooking and baking at a very young age. I was 7 and just learning to read when I picked up my mimi's cookbook and made my first recipe, "Butterscotch Cookies." From then on there was no turning back. I love to try all varieties and ethnicities of foods and mastering specific dishes. So far, so good. I absolutely love to entertain and feed people, I just love to watch them eat and have a great time! I now have a new grandchild to care for and I'm looking forward to grandmother-hood :) When I stop cooking and trying new things, is when I stop living.
My favorite things to cook
Can't pick one, I love so many varieties and it always depends on my mood. However, I am always looking for something new and interesting to try. I also like to come up with my own ideas. I almost never follow a recipe exactly. When I look through recipes, I always look for something to inspire me to make my own thing.

Aussie Breakfast Egg Mess
Just made this exactly as written, even with the optional ketchup, only I used spicy ketchup for some kick. With the ketchup I would rate it 4 stars, without it's a 5 star recipe for sure. To me, the ketchup seems to cheapen the overall taste of this recipe.

Spaghetti Squash with Paleo Meat Sauce
With the addition of fresh rosemary, garlic and sea salt this dish could go from bland to over the top. I'm surprised there's no salt whatsoever in this recipe, aside from what's in the canned tomatoes.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence
Made this marinade for cube steaks last night. Two stars for tenderness, but the basil absolutely ruined it. Don't add the basil if using for beef! However, it might work better for chicken. I will try this again, but without the basil. I can't believe how just one ingredient can make or break a dish like this!
