The Best Lemon Bars

Out of this World Turkey Brine

If I could give this recipe a 10, I would. It made my first venture at roasting a turkey perfect. Out of Worcestershire sauce, I used an equal amount of low sodium soy sauce, substituted sea salt for canning salt, and added in onions as per another reviewer. Following another reviewer, I found 2.5 gallon Ziplock bags that were the right size to hold all the liquid and the medium size turkey I used. I brined it the whole two days, patted it dry, and roasted with Italian seasoning. Utter perfection. Next time I will probably rinse the turkey, then roast it, because a lot of the salt settles at the portion of the turkey at the bottom of the bag.

Corn and Black Bean Salad

Simply amazing. I used a frozen bag of black bean/corn/green & red pepper/onion mix, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, all the seasoning as listed, and olive oil i/o vegetable oil, then simmered it for about 15mins on stove top. It turned out great! Made a great side dish.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

AMAZING! It was my first time making stuffing of any kind. I took it to a church dinner and received rave reviews. Instead of fresh bread, I bought sage/thyme seasoned dried bread cubes. I used 1cup of chicken stock i/o turkey stock, next time I will use maybe 1/4cup more. I omitted the turkey livers, added extra of the seasonings listed and salt and pepper. Instead of stuffing the turkey, I baked for an hour, stirring after 30 minutes as another reviewer suggested. It has been requested for second Thanksgiving dinner.

Korean BBQ Chicken Marinade

A-Mazing!!! I didn't have the onion powder so I used garlic powder instead. And like one the of other reviews, I added cornstarch to thicken the marinade to use as a sauce over noodles.
