Swedish Meatballs (Svenska Kottbullar)

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2014
Love this recipe and I've been using it for a while now! I was wary of the spices at first but now I'd never make this without them. I use a bit less sour cream because I found it too strong the first time around. I also find the baking instruction to be pretty flexible. If I don't have the time, I just pour the chicken or beef broth in the pan, cover it and let them finish cooking. Easy!

Walnut Banana Bread Pudding

Reviewed: May 12, 2013
The flavor is fantastic! Reading the reviews on how the coconut flavor doesn't come through, I added 1/2 tsp or 1 tsp of coconut extract and it was perfect! However I found this bread pudding to be a bit greasy. In fact I halved the amount of butter because I just didn't find it necessary and I substituted the heavy cream with skim milk. I've never cooked/ baked with coconut milk before so maybe it makes things naturally oily...? But even with the changes I made, I still find it a bit heavy on the stomach. Very delicious though! Just not quite the light breakfast bread pudding I was expecting.

Harvest Grilled Apples

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2011
Hmmm.. I'm guessing the apples need to have a few holes poked in them first, to avoid the explosion? Will have to try that out

Tasty BBQ Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
AMAZING! We made sure to keep some of the butter aside as well so eople could spread it on after grilling too.... it was gone in a heartbeat. This will definitely be my only corn on the cob recipe from now on!

Chicken Parmesan Alfredo

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
I love Ragu's creamy sauces so I knew I would love this one and it was as delicious as I expected it to be. I was skeptical about the tomato but after reading a review about how it really added to the flavor, I went with it and I don't regret it! The only change I made was using Ragu's Roasted Garlic Parmesan sauce, which personally I like more than the plain Alfredo one.. and it only added more to the recipe. Really really delicious! I reccomend trying it!

Macaroni And Cheese II

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
Great recipe! It was hard to find one that would be creamy instead of firm. I think I mixed in more mustard than I was supposed to because it was pretty strong. But anyway, the creaminess is most important and I loved it!

No Bake Pumpkin Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
Great pumpkin pie! I've never made pumpkin pie before and I was estatic to find a recpie that didn't require baking. My opinion though it had an obvious gelatin-like look than pie-like, which I hoped it wouldn't have, but no one else seemed to notice. I guess I just did since I knew what was in it lol. Nevertheless, everyone loved it. I think this will be my new Thanksgiving pie recipe..!

Basic Bechamel Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
I couldn't believe how simple it was to make this sauce! First time I had ever tried and it turned out perfect. However, I can't say I'm a nutmeg fan so next time I'll either put in much less or omit it altogether.
