Animal Crackers

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
These crackers were a big hit with my daughter's kindergarten class! I altered the recipe slightly by adding 3 tsp of honey instead of 2, and also added 1 tsp of vanilla. I made two batches and found the dough very easy to work with. Each batch yielded approximately twenty crackers (mine were dinosaur shaped). Note that these really taste like crackers -- they are not extremely sweet like cookies. I will definitely be making these again.

Mari's Banana Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2014
Just made these yesterday. They were amazing! I followed the recipe exactly. So moist and fluffy...not dense like banana bread/muffins. Thanks for sharing this recipe! (I also made the cream cheese frosting and was able to pipe it onto the cupcakes.)

Kae's Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2012
This is a great recipe. Instead of canned vegetables, I used cooked carrots, celery, potatoes and peas. Also, I did not have evaporated milk on hand, so I used regular milk instead. The dough was very easy to work with and I was able to use the recipe as is to line the top and bottom of a rectangular baking dish. My husband ate half of this pie all by himself! Will definitely make this again. Thanks!

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
I made two batches of these today and they came out great! Doubling the recipe yielded me 74 cookies. I filled some with jam and some with maraschino cherries. I also baked them at 350 degrees for 14 minutes instead of at 375. I will definitely be making these every Christmas.

Michael's Foccacia Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2010
This was a great recipe and a big hit with the family. The bread was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I omitted the onion and also the sprinkling of kosher salt at the end. I will definitely be making this again and will experiment with different toppings.
