Stir-Fry Pork with Ginger

Excellent and easy. Tips that were helpful: I cut pork when partially frozen so it sliced thinly. I peeled Ginger with spoon .after cooking pork-I plated it and covered in foil and placed in microwave to keep warm. Meanwhile I reheated wok and added a tb. Of oil and added veggies for stir fry side. Dinner was done by the time rice was done cooking. Great recipe- great flavor. Would be good with noodles too.

Marshmallow Treats

Love the treats! My easy trick for solving the only downside to these treats is for cleaning up the pot. After making the treats and leaving them to cool, I roll up my sleeves to clean up that sticky pot and spoon! I put in a dose of vinegar ( any kind), and a squirt of dish soup into the pot on top of the burner ( turn up to high) I then add hot water from my tea kettle. The acid unsticks the remainders ( like deglazing does) and I stir the pot with the sticky wooden spoon I use. As soon as it comes to a boil- I shut it all off- and leave it to cool. All it takes is a short rinse under the faucet!

Ham and Potato/ Bake Potato Soup

I would do this recipe a little differently- i would chop up bacon- rendering grease into the stockpot- taking out crispy bacon pieces and leaving the grease. I would saute up the onion and celery to soften and then add the ham, and potatoes and water. I would do everything else the same except I used the cooked bacon bits that i saved to garnish soup at end. Also good with a dollop of sour cream on it and some dill or chives cooked in at beginning.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Fantastic! Only change I suggest is to use Better than bouillion Ham soup base- it really adds an amazing flavor to it. Also try the ham soup base with a little chicken soup base for authentic asian flavor in asian broths!

Triple Berry Crisp

Made this for bunko girls- two of them said it was the BEST dessert they'd ever had! I doubled this recipe- am going to try it tonight with just rhubarb- and so will rerate with that !
