New York Cheesecake III

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2010
This is a good base recipe, and the cooking directions are spot on if you know what you are doing. I usually leave my cheesecake in the oven for three hours after baking, just to be safe, and then move it in to the fridge for the rest of the night. A little tip, even though I am sure someone else has said this. Instead of using a water bath to prevent cracks, place a baking sheet with water on the bottom rack and the cheesecake on the top rack of the oven. I gave this four stars because there isn't anything special about this recipe. I have tried many others that taste similar, also i thought it would be more dense by the description.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
Wowee what a great meal! This goes really well with some white rice and broccoli. A few suggestions for baking that some may have made before. Boil the sauce and simmer before pouring on the chicken. Baste every 15 minutes or so because the sauce will be a little runny at first. Make sure to turn the chicken. The first time i made this the top of mine burnt because I didn't turn it, so I scraped that off and it was so delicious!!!! Favorite baked chicken recipe I have done after all of the tweaks.

Ranch Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
Delicious. I didn't put any saltines in mine though. These came out very moist, and the flavor of the meat was not lost. I usually use a little less than the full packet of ranch dressing, can be a little too salty.

Shredded Barbecue Beef

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
I did this recipe with elk, which I hate. It was the only meat I had in the freezer, and this recipe was still delicious! Definitely something I will be making again. I was short on time so I cooked the meat on high for three hours, and it didn't dry out the meat. Great and easy recipe.
