Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies

They live up to their name! This recipe fixes a lot of the problems I have with many recipes: too cakey, the chips don't really melt and just maintain their shape, don't spread. I made some with the suggested 3 tbsp/ cookie amount, but they were really huge, so I did the rest with 2 tbsp/ cookie. These were superb! Great flavor, relatively flat and chewy-- the way I like it. This one is a KEEPER!

Soft Sugar Cookies II

Although they were tasty, they are not suitable for frosty because of their very cake-y texture. I halved the recipe and that was plenty, and only did 1/3 of that with the cardamom mixture (i used cinnamon). The rest with sugar tasted a lot better, in my opinion. The cinnamon batch tasted like a poor man's snickerdoodle.
