Flourless Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: May 1, 2012
I made this with only two changes : used 8oz. of semi-sweet chips instead of squares and cocoa powder. (what I had on hand) I sprinkled chopped walnuts on the top of the cake before baking. I chose not to frost the cake although I did drizzled melted chocolate to create a beautiful cake. Got great raves from my bible study group. They requested I make this cake again. Thank you for a fabulous recipe.

Cream Cheese Penguins

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2011
These are the cutest things ever ! I took them to my church Christmas party tonight and the first person that saw them "just had to take a picture". There was quite a few pictures taken throughout the evening.(till they were gone) People were amazed not knowing that they were eatable. :) I will be making them again even though they are a bit of work. THANKS for a GREAT IDEA !!!!!!

Chocolate Popcorn

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
This was soooo easy ! Love it ! Helpful hint, I found that stirring every 10 min. or so while baking helped to make the chocolate coat the pop-corn more evenly, I used 2 bags of microwave popcorn. This is better than Cracker Jacks. (it's chocolate ;-) ) Thanks for sharing. I will be adding this to my holiday giving.***Update 10/19/11 I used buttered microwave popcorn and did not add any butter too much butter taste. Next time I think I will use plain (no butter) microwave popcorn.

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
I want to thank you for an interesting recipe. I did have to do some modifying for my friend that can not eat tomatoe products, pepper of any kind, or vinegar which is in the Worcestershire sauce. This was a great recipe. Thanks again.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
This recipe is so fun ! :) I made my own frosting, so I didn't measure how much I used. I froze the cake balls before dipping in chocolate. It makes it easier to dip.(especially in the heat of the summer) I have made these twice within a week. Got great reviews on both batches. Vanilla cake and chocolate cake both with chocolate coating. The combinations are endless. Thank you so much for such a fun and delish recipe.

Wacky Cake VIII

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
What can I say but "Delish"! I doubled the recipe, used a 9x13 pan and finished it off with "Easy Chocolate Bundt Cake Glaze" from this site.(I ran out of confectionary sugar to make my usual frosting.) I also mixed all the dry ingredients and added them to the wet ingredients using separate bowls. I brought it to my bible study group and the young boys were fighting over the crumbs that were left in the pan! This is an easy fabulous cake. I was asked to make this again. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful recipe!!!!!!

Oh my gosh these cookies are GREAT ! I followed the recipe exactly with an addition of chocolate chips which I think put them right over the top. I will be adding these to my cookie list. I wish I hadn't given so many away. Oh well, I guess I'll have to make more....... :) YUM !

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
I made this for a friend who is gluten sensitive and she absolutely loved it. I thought it was very chocolately. Most every person that tried it couldn't believe it was made with garbanzo beans and no flour. I am not on a gluten restricted diet and will be making this again. Thanks for such a great recipe.

Easy Curry Couscous

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
I halved the recipe. I used my own chicken stock that had no salt. I did not add the salt since I need a low salt diet. I also added 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin. This was fantastic ! A bit spicy hot, but I like hot. Thanks for a great recipe.
