Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2013
SO SO good!! I only reserved three cookies to use for decorating the tops. I used a cookie scooper to make each ball nice and uniform. I froze for a half an hour, and then used the fork method for dipping in chocolate. Had no problems. Decorated with remaining crushed cookies and also festive holiday sprinkles! THANK YOU! These are sure to be a hit.

Simple Ranch Chicken Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
I thought the recipe 'as-is' was too salty. I will use this is a base recipe next time. I will omit the celery and olives, add a chopped onion and maybe a cup of frozen peas, plus use only half the ranch seasoning pack and up the milk to 1/4 cup.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2011
Wonderful recipe! I included the suggestions from naples34102, but didn't use the baking powder. In addition, I used cooking spray to coat the bottom of the pan, then coated with a cinnamon/sugar mixture. I will pass this recipe on to my kids!

Fava Bean Breakfast Spread

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
This, my friends, is Egyptian comfort/soul food! Growing up, this was a breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner, fasting, whenever/whatever kind of food! Eating foul with pita bread is a MUST! Add the lemon to taste since it might be too strong for some. I also omit the red pepper and parsley as a personal preference.

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
I'm giving 5 stars; HOWEVER, not because this was a 'perfect' recipe, but because it's near 'perfect'. Overall, I thought the mini loaves were a great idea. Preparation was simple, and the taste was GOOD. I was hesitant about doing the sauce because of the ketchup (not a big fan), but am glad I used it. As other reviewers mentioned, my kids were licking their plates! This loaves were moist, but I felt they were lacking in flavor. Aside from the sauce on top, there didn't seem to be much taste. SO, with thoughtful seasoning in the future, this one's a keeper! Thanks for sharing!

Italian Chicken and Chickpeas

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
I'm not sure what I expect making these, but the flavors were just 'okay' for me. I finished what I made, but won't likely prepare this meal again.

Breakfast Pies

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
These take a little time, but it's completely worth it. I froze most of them individually for later. The flavor was very good after re-heating, and it sure beat other bland breakfast choices (i.e. cereal, bagel, etc.) I will make these many more times!!!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I would say that this recipe is easy; BUT, not as flavorful as the recipe I had been using.

Toasted Party Mix

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
I followed this recipe exactly, and it came out all wrong. I wound up using the recipe on the Chex box, and it came out perfect. This recipe was too greasy and salty.

Sticky Monkey Brains

I LOVE this recipe! I took it to work, and everyone was raving! I used to make monkey bread with my Nana growing up, and this recipe reminded me of the great cook she was! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
I'm giving this 4 stars, only because I altered the recipe (as others suggested). I cubed fresh chicken breasts and cooked in some bacon fat for flavor. Instead of fresh onion, I used 1 packet onion soup mix. I also subbed the 'processed cheese food' aka Velveeta for 1 can cheddar cheese and 1 8oz. pkg. of shredded cheddar cheese. Everything else I left the same. This dish was SUPER easy, and it's definitely a keeper!

Zesty Tortilla Roll Ups

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
I made this recipe to the T, and it turned out FABULOUS! I would suggest leaving about two inches on the end you are rolling towards without any toppings, otherwise the filling will smoosh off the edge.
