I like to try new recipes. When I see a cookbook with something interesting I buy the book. I have a whole library of cookbooks. I want to perfect my bread making, have tried the machines but prefer the oven. Cakes, pies, cookies and bread. first time I made Baklava My very first cake, I was age 10 trying to bake birthday cake for my mom while she was napping. The result was the center of cake very doughy. Mom loved it, she cut out the center and we spread icing on the outside pieces and celebrated her birthday.
