Quick Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2014
This was really good, but I think next time I will use half of a green pepper. I didn't expect that taste to be so overpowering. Also I used 10 Roma tomatoes instead of the canned whole tomatoes and about a can and a half of tomato paste to thicken it more. Thanks!

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2013
Great starter recipe. I didn't like the sauce so I ended up doctoring it until I could stand the taste. Now I use fresh spinach and mushrooms and a creamy cheese sauce. I definitely stay away from the Italian seasoning, I only like that for piazza.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2012
Thank you for making my first baking of loaf bread an excellent one. This recipe was perfect and my kids and husband love the bread. I will probably try less sugar next time so it comes out fluffier, but on the whole excellent bread. I will never run out again.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2012
This is a great recipe, the kids love it. I agree, do not overcook it. I left out the walnuts cause I hate walnuts in cookies and I used milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2012
This was a great base recipe. There weren't nearly enough potatoes so we added about 3-4 times more. I skipped the red wine vinegar. I didn't wait until the end to season with salt I added salt through out the entire process. Thank you! This was the best clam chowder I've had nothing in new england was as good.

Delicious brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2012
This recipe was a good start. When I made it the first time, my husband liked them, but I didn't think they were sweet enough and they were hard. When I made them the second time, I used semi-sweet chocolate. Both times I melted in a saucepan but the second time I added sugar in the raw to the pan so it would melt a bit because it tends to be grainy. Also to the flour I added baking soda, powder and salt. A strange thing happened, the mix bubbled and overflowed when baked, but the brownies turned out moist and delicious!!! Thanks for the recipe.

Beautiful Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
This recipe was a great start. I have modified it each time I've made it. This last time I used a few of the suggestions from others. I turned the heat down to 400 because one time I made this the filling almost burned up the stove. I used 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. I squeezed half of a lemon over the blueberry mixture in the crust and used a quarter teaspoon of vanilla. Since I haven't yet picked my own blueberries I usually soak store bought blueberries overnight in sugar water. Thank you! My family and friends LOVE this pie.

Fresh Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: May 18, 2012
Wow, thank you, I would never have put this together, but your picture was so appetizing. I skipped the raisins and used a few pieces of yellow onion, next i'm going to add Gorgonzola cheese and see what flavor that adds.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

This is a great recipe! I use 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 3 tablespoons of hot sauce. I cook it all in a wok and use rice noodles instead of rice. What a great recipe. Thanks!!!!
