Cream Cheese Frosting II

Wow. This is cream cheese frosting the way it should be! This is for the cream cheese lover, and not someone who wants a really sweet frosting. I made it exactly as the recipe says and I wouldn't change a thing. This will definitely be my go to cream cheese frosting recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Pollo Fajitas

I thought these were really good and they were easy to put together. The chicken stayed moist. I marinated the peppers and onions along with the chicken. I will definitely make these again.

Feta Chicken

Yum. I flattened the chicken out and then dipped them in an egg wash. I breaded both sides then added the feta and just a little butter to the center before I rolled them so that when they were cut into it would be moist. It worked and these were delicious!

Baked Pork Chops I

These chops turned out very moist and the seasoning is really good as well. I just put the seasoning salt and the garlic powder into the flour before coating the chops instead of sprinkling them with it directly. My husband normally cant stand pork chops but he told me he loved these! This will be my go to pork chop recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Carrot Cake III

I made the changes that another reviewer suggested: added crushed pineapple, more vanilla and changed it to 1 c. white sugar and 1 cup brown sugar. I also added some nutmeg and more cinnamon. This is the best carrot cake I have ever had! I used a different cream cheese frosting recipe from this site that is more cream cheesey instead of sweet which is what I like. I will definitely make this again! Thanks!

Honey Mustard Dressing II

YUM! I used dijon just because I love the spice and low fat mayo. I may try plain yogurt next time just to cut down on the fat even more. I am kind of picky about the honey mustard I like and this one is going to be my new favorite! Thanks for sharing!

The Real Mojito

Try using Malibu coconut rum instead of the traditional Bacardi! My brother in law is a bartender and he made one for me with Malibu and I have never gone back! I also made a simple syrup to use instead of the sugar, which is how they make it at his bar. Simple syrup is 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water. Let the syrup dissolve in the water over low heat and then allow to cool. These are so refreshing on a hot day!

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

This is really good bread. Instead of using 1 cup oil, I used 1/2 cup applesauce and 1/2 cup oil. I also added a cinnamon streusel topping. Yum!

Chocolate Wave Zucchini Bread

This is a wonderful bread and a different way to use up zucchini. I made one change to cut back on calories, and that was to use 1/3 c. cinnamon applesauce + 1 tbsp veg oil in place of shortening. I really didnt miss the shortening at all. This will be going into my regular zucchini bread rotation along with my moms recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Caramel Shortbread Squares

These are so yummy! They kind of remind me of Twix. I didnt make my own caramel because I had a bag of caramels to use so I melted those with a little butter and spread that over the shortbread. Chocolate, caramel and shortbread heaven. Thanks for sharing! These will be a constant on my Christmas cookie list for years to come!

Swiss Sherry Chicken

This was awesome. I made some changes but I think it would have been good as is. First thing I did was sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper and then I sauteed it in olive oil and garlic until it was brown. Also in regards to the sauce I doubled the sour cream(reduced fat) and added a can of mushrooms. I also put the dill weed in the sauce. I did not use any butter with the breadcrumbs (which were garlic and cheese flavored) because I wanted to cut on the fat content somewhere. The croutons added a wonderful crust that was really flavorful and it browned beautifully even without butter. I increased the oven temp to 350 and cooked the chicken 50 min since they were thick breasts. It was so good and so moist. My husband loved it and so did I. Thanks for sharing!

Meatball Nirvana

These meatballs were delicious! I used minced garlic instead of garlic powder. I also used 1 egg in place of the milk, as others have suggested. One reviewer said that these were a little dry. In order to avoid that I added 1/4 cup milk to the breadcrumbs and let them soak that up. My meatballs were very moist and so yummy. I also used gruyere cheese instead of parm, but only because I had some to use up. This is going to be my go to meatball recipe! Thanks for sharing!
