Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2010
This is absolutely delicious! I made this for my husband and he said it was the best Cordon Bleu he ever had. The sauce was fantastic. I added a little extra cheese, just because my husband likes things cheesey! I am definitely going to make this again and again!

Very yummy! I did add 1/2 cup of beef broth so there was more sauce, and garlic to the peppers while they were cooking. I'll def make this again!

Maple Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
This was the perfect way to use up some apples! I did add just a little cinnamon and nutmeg to the topping, and cut down on the butter like other reviewers suggested! I would def make this again!

Pistachio Mallow Salad

Reminds me of the Pistachio salad that my Grandma use to make! It's a little too sweet for us but very yummy.

Chocolate-Filled Cream Puffs

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
My mom made these for my birthday when I was growing up because they were my favorite. I think they are wonderful as is, but the last time I made them I decided to tweek the filling a little and I added some Baileys to the whipping cream before it was whipped. After it was whipped and the sugar and chocolate were added it was absolutely delicious!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
So good! I added a little more pumpkin and some extra cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. I also baked them at 365 for 12 minutes like one of the other reviewers suggested. I love these cookies, and even my husband that doesn't like pumpkin liked these cookies.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Yum! Like other reviewers, I cubed the chicken and sauteed it in the bacon grease from the bacon. I also added chopped red pepper to the spinach and I used 1% milk instead of half and half. I would definitely make this again.

Chocolate Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2011
Good, just not exactly what I wanted. It was more of a glaze than I would have liked. The flavor was good, but it was very sticky.

I followed the recipe exactly and added semi-sweet chocolate chips. Even without the chips, this is a keeper for sure!

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
These meatballs were delicious! I used minced garlic instead of garlic powder. I also used 1 egg in place of the milk, as others have suggested. One reviewer said that these were a little dry. In order to avoid that I added 1/4 cup milk to the breadcrumbs and let them soak that up. My meatballs were very moist and so yummy. I also used gruyere cheese instead of parm, but only because I had some to use up. This is going to be my go to meatball recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2011
Really good. I cut down on the vinegar by about half and I cut the sugar in half to suit our tastes. I also added 4 or 5 hardboiled eggs. Yum! *I am giving this 4 stars because I made the dressing as is the first time and threw it out to make the changes. It was too sweet and the vinegar came through a little too much.*
