I have made this recipe so many times, I figure I should finally review it. This lasagna is truly the best. It is better than restaurant quality. The sauce is amazing. I make the sauce up a few times a year in huge batches and then freeze it in portion sizes. Then I use the sauce to not only make this lasagna, but also make other Italian dishes like chicken parm. I take the advice of others and double or even triple the spices. Also I usually cannot find sweet Italian sausage, but the one time I did, I was not impressed with the sauce. I use normal Italian sausage. I usually do not like pork, but you cannot leave it out of this dish.
