About this Cook
I am a stayn at home mom, i love my life, and even though i only have one child i am still busy day to day. I try to teach my son the glories of life and family. Our family loves food and i love to experiment , even if things don't work out, i still have fun!
My favorite things to cook
my husband says i cook waaaaaay too many casseroles. so i guess i would say that!
My favorite family cooking traditions
around christmas we my family gets together and makes a dutch dish called "oile bolen" or oil balls. they are a deep fried batter ball that we sometimes put raisins in and then they are heavily coated in powdered sugar. so bad, but so good. we also make "appel floppa" witch are rings of apple slices deep fried and put icing sugar on them.

Chicken with Garlic, Basil, and Parsley
YUM YUM YUM! I just eyed the spices and i sliced the garlic and covered the chicken breasts with the slices. our family loves garlic! but it wasnt too garlicy where it would be a meal to get rid of a vampire! just sliced the tomato and put it on top. very very good! and when it was on the plates i drizzled it with lemon for myself. it was sooooooooo good. everyone else copied me with the lemon. it was even fought over for lunch leftovers!

Sloppy Joe Spaghetti
Awesome idea! all i did different was add half a can of plain tomato sauce to it because i had leftovers , but truly I wouldn't have changed a thing if i wasn't so anal about wasting food! My husband was happy for the change from regular pasta sauce. it kicked it up a notch, without having to do anything!
