Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

I too read a lot of the reviews here and decided to make changes based on jillybean14. Amazing...! I cut the meat I used myself in cubes smaller than what was at the store. I followed the advice of jillybean14 and could not be happier I did. I cut and paste her recommendations and put them with the base recipe. My son is not a steak person and has only had his stroganoff via Hamburger Helper....he absolutely loved this version. I will be sure to share and make it again.

Creamy Banana Bread

Just made this for the family and for my son to take to work tomorrow. Followed the recipe exactly as written, only thing I had to do is add to the cooking time, I did so at 2 min increments until such time the toothpick came out draw. Just sliced a piece of it off, amazing (and I am not a big fan of bananas)!!!

Monkey Bread Muffins

Simple receipe to follow. My son is going to a early morning potluck on Sunday so I wanted to try this out before hand...yes I use my sons a guinea pigs. I read through most of the reviews and used a lot of their suggestions from those reviews. I used the Grands Original (16 oz) which meant I needed to tweak the measurements for the mixture you rolled the pieces in. I also used a ziploc bag to get all the pieces covered completely (one biscuit cut up at a time). I used the apple slicer someone else suggested, putting 6 of those covered pieces in each liner. I was sure not to over fill the those liners with the sugar mixture by using a spoon to drizzle it on and making sure all the pieces were covered somewhat (because one review said it all pooled at the bottom). I reduced my temp to 350 degrees as someone else suggested and ended up extending the time by 2 min increments (total of 16 mins) until they were done on top and sprung back as the recipe calls for. We shared one to make sure they were done all the way through and I must say we all gave them two thumbs up.

Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Made this the other night for my sons and the both loved it. Older son said he would eat it as long as he did not have to "fight" with it (he does not like steak like meat) and he was the one that ended up asking if he could have what was left. My younger son gave it two thumbs up. Super tender, I seasoned it then sealed it with my Food Saver allowing the spices to really get into the meat. I will definately make this again.

Baked Potato Soup I

I have been making this for yrs now and like to come back to read reviews and suggestions. As far as the soup being too thick it depends on the base/roux, I know friends that have made it and thicken the roux too much...for me using 1% milk did not matter. I use butter and not margarine. I made this for a soup pot luck at work and doubled the recipe to serve 12 hungry RN's and doctors. I heard comments like I was personally responsible for clogging arteries to OMG this is better than Corner Bakery's "Loaded Potato" soup. It was gone before our 8 hr shift was over. Several RN's have made it since and all just rave about it...all the credit goes to website and Sherry.
