Blackberry Cobbler II

Awesome recipe and super easy. I cut the sugar as suggested (and because my fruit was sweet) and made the cinnamon and vanilla extract additions. I used half the fruit instead of double the dough because I have a small cast iron skillet and based on fresh fruit I wanted to use up. I used 1 cup each of blackberries and blueberries. One different change I made that I will consider part of my permanent recipe was to substitute blackberry brandy for the cold water. End result was to die for. Thanks so much for the recipe, I'll be passing it on to my daughter asap!

Naked Shrimp Pasta

Excellent recipe. I did take a little creative license in adding fresh diced tomatoes in addition to the canned, also added some fresh sliced mushrooms and sliced black olives. The recipe as is, is excellent and I love that it leaves room for inspiration while cooking (yes, I taste as I go along and rarely stick "exactly" to any recipe). Thank you for the great dish.

Taiwanese Pork Chops

These chops turned out fantastic. I made a few changes to the original. I made it for two pork chops. I increased the 5 spice to about 1 1/2 tsp. and I used about a 1/4 cup of white wine. Cooking, I used a tblsp. of margarine and a little olive oil. Did a high heat sear about 1 min. each side. I then reduced heat to med., covered and cooked 5 min. each side. They were tender and juicy and really flavorful. I served with white rice and spicy Bok Choy which made a spicy kick to the fragrant meat. I will definitely be making this again.
