I was laid off last August. I am now working on a list of recipes I've always wanted to make. And fixing up the house and garden.
My favorite things to cook
Bread-I just recently made an Irish Soda Bread that was awesome.
Granola Bars- I make a batch every week for my husband.
Indian/Nepalese-I haven't mastered the bread portion yet, but my Tarkari is getting pretty good.
Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches-my family and I decided to make one night a week soup and gourmet grilled cheese night.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Heading over to the Farmer's Market every Saturday morning in the summertime and filling up our bags with fresh delicious vegetables for the week.
My cooking triumphs
Bread-I can bake French bread without even thinking about it now.
Granola Bars-My husband can't resist it. And he has will power of steel, so that's saying something(to me anyway).
My cooking tragedies
I forgot to put the brown sugar in my homemade Teriyaki sauce-talk about salty. My husband ate it anyway-what a trooper. My child asked for PB&J.
