I like to buy good ingredients once a week then challenge myself to make something good, and as quickly as possible for the kids every night when I get home from work with whatever is left in the fridge after my scavenging teenagers have been home alone all afternoon with fee reign. I once cooked 4 meals in one night before giving up and taking the kids to A&W. The last attempt was Naaman running back with a lasagna from next door where he had borrowed the microwave. As he entered the kitchen running with a grin on his face he tripped over the threshold and the cheesy pasta went flying all over the kitchen.
