About this Cook
I'm 29 years old. Married, 2 kids... JJ 5 yrs old and Kaytlyn 8 yrs old. I'm a stay at home mom and I love it. I love baking and crocheting. I'm starting to like cooking more and more. I am addicted to reading.
My favorite things to cook
Anything sweet! Cookies, fudge, truffles, desserts of all sorts!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well, either me or my husband cook dinner and then we all sit down at the dinning room table, pray, and eat dinner as a family. Usually.
My cooking triumphs
Desserts are my specialty. I do gift baskets for christmas presents filled with my most favorite and yummy desserts. :)
My cooking tragedies
Not too many... sometimes it comes out bland or just plain gross. I don't make those again or even try to improve them. I just mark it as a loss and search for something else to bake.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken
This was nothing special. It was pretty boring. It tasted alright, just boring.

Eggplant Rollatini
My 5 yr old son asked what an eggplant is and what it tastes like. I couldn't really tell him because I'd never had one. So we went to the store and he picked one out. I searched allrecipes for a popular recipe and came across this one. I was skeptical at first. I even prayed that it would turn out good. :) It was REALLY good. I didn't have any of that funky Italian meat so I used really thin sliced smoked ham. And I used panko bread crumbs instead of traditional bread crumbs (because I can get panko in natural). I also sprinkled a little parmesan cheese on right before the mozzarella. This was kinda time consuming, but totally worth it. My son even ate it!!
