David's Yellow Cake

Reviewed: May 20, 2011
This is an excellent cake recipe! I pretty much follow the recipe exact, except I substitute 2&1/4cups of cake flour for the all-purpose flour. Light, moist, and delicious every time!

Lebanese Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
Good dish. Only thing I wasn't crazy about was the amount of lemon juice the recipe called for. Next time, I think I'll cut that in half. Still good though. Took other reviewers adivce and added a tsp of allspice and cumin, definitely recommend doing this, adds a TON of flavor.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

This is a great breakfast smoothie, very filling, not too sweet, and i didn't mind the uncooked oatmeal taste. I will definitely be making this again.

Make Ahead Lunch Wraps

Quick, healthy, and very tasty lunch time option. Just make, wrap in foil individually, and put in a zip-lock bag. When you're ready to eat one, just unwrap and microwave. Perfect.

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
This recipe is a good base. However, to make it work, I had to modify it cosiderably. I cut the bell peppers lengthwise. Used only one can of tomato soup. Cooked the rice seperately as well as the meat. Added some minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, and oregano; and omitted the worsteshire sauce and 1/2 cup water (I just added a full soup can's worth instead). I mixed the soup into the stuffing, instead of pouring it over the peppers. It came out wonderful.

Beef Tips and Noodles

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
Great recipe. However it was a bit salty. Next time I think I will use low sodium soup, to cut some of the salt. Still it had great flavor and the meat was tender. Will definitely make again.

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
My first time making this, and it came out perfect. Followed suggestions from other reviewers and mixed the parmesan cheese with the eggs before adding it to the SLIGHTLY COOLED pasta. No scrambled eggs= success!
