Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2014
Made these this morning and loved them. I especially love that I can make them on the same morning I decide I'd like to have them. Skipping the first rise is excellent. I didn't have instant yeast and used used active dry yeast instead. No problems resulted at all. Baked them in a 9 x 13 and they were perfect.

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
OMG! This is sooooooo good. To have such great tasting refried beans with NO lard is perfect. I've shared this recipe with others. And no fuss at all. These store well, too. Thanks for a great recipe.

Gramma's Apple Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
We really enjoyed this recipe. It was easy to make and was a great switch from our usual apple pie. I'll defiinitely use this one again. The vanilla sauce was soooooooo good. It can be used with other desserts!

Baked Potato Skins

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
These had a lot of flavor. I brought them to a party and got some good reviews. But I found them a bit greasy for my own taste. Not sure if I'll make this again.

Frosted Banana Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
These are fantastic! I will use a different cream cheese frosting. I like to make my own. But the cake turns out soooo moist and the snack size is perfect to take anywhere. I'll share this recipe with others.

Red River Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
I've looked high and low for a good sirloin beef stroganoff recipe. I finally found it with this one! It's perfect. I just add a little fresh garlic when I simmer the beef. We eat this up.

Easy Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
I've been making this version for years. I add seasonings (onion and garlic powder) and parmesan cheese to my breadcrumbs and the smell while baking is incredible. I only bake for 25 or 30 minutes since the chicken is boneless and it doesn't get dry. mmm, mmm, mmm.

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2010
I wish I could give these more than 3, but what others called "creamy" was more like potatoes and chicken gravy to me. I was looking for a more traditional scalloped potato with cream. These weren't bad if you like the gravy and potato combo.
