Tomatillo Salsa Verde

Phenomenal flavour! I blended all ingredients together and then put in saucepan and simmered for 20 minutes. I did omit the water because we like thick salsa. I will be freezing this in serving size containers. Thanks!

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Don't cheat on this recipe! I cut half the rising time in hopes that they would rise more in the oven and I was wrong. Take your time and do it right, it will be worth it. I will be having great flavoured but dense golfballs with my dinner tonight.

Great recipe, however I found it a little bready. Maybe my fault. This was a perfect amount of dough to cover a cookie sheet for a thinner crust.

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

I didnt have enough oil so I used 1/4 cup oil and 1/4 cup melted margarine. I also undercooked these and used a pan that was too large and even though they were very thin, they still were delicious!!! Pretty hard to botch this recipe. Thanks!

Homemade Tomato Sauce I

Good for a basic sauce, but definitely needs something. I tripled the recipe as I had a lot of tomatoes and I think that must have scewed the ingredient proportions as it turned out very bland. But with everything.. taste test, and add as you please!

Marshmallow Treats

This is the basic recipe, nothing extraordinairy.. but delicious none the less! I use 40 large marshmallows, 5.5-6 cups of krispies and 1/4 cup butter. A splash of vanilla extract is also lovely.

Greek Pasta Salad with Shrimp, Tomatoes, Zucchini, Peppers, and Feta

I am currently pregnant and I had to have type of vinagery pasta salad NOW! lol I just finished making it and it is chilling as I type but I couldn't keep my paws out of it as I was making it. I did use traditional greek salad veggies (cukes, tomatos, green peppers, red onion, etc) instead and tons of feta. The dressing is perfect for any type of pasta salad! I added a squirt of lemon juice to blend the oil and vinegar a bit better. I did notice a little bit of an oily texture afterwards so I splashed a bit more vinegar over top, stirred and voila! yum!

Feta and Bacon Pasta Sauce

Well, This didn't actually taste good but I blame my lack of ingredients and scaling the recipe, and not measuring for that! lol I, however, gave it 5 stars because I can imagine what the proper version tastes like and it makes my mouth water. Will try it again after a shopping trip! Thanks! Great comfort food right here.

Herbed Rib Roast

Yummy! Ok I admit, I fell asleep and cooked it an hour longer than I was supposed to. I took it out and it looked like a lump of charcoal, but we cut into it anyways and it was still delicious!! I do have to pay thanks to the better than usual cut of meat we had however. I used fresh parsley instead of dried by the way. I have another roast prepped and ready to go for a birthday dinner tomorrow night. Thanks!

Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

As mentioned before in another review - It's not quite Zucchini and it's not quite chocolatey. I also had problems getting it out of the pan and now have several "mini" loaves. I will stick with my moms tried and true recipes and just add chocolate if I so desire. Thanks anyways!

Creamy Potato Leek Soup II

delicious! I also added a bit more water as I like soups more runny. I suggest making this soup when leeks are in season. Paid over $5 for a few crummy stalks. Thanks for the recipe!

Simple Spinach Lasagna

YUM!!! I added some ground beef to the sauce and used an italian seasoning mixture (which had savory and thyme in it as well as basil and oregano) I would also suggest getting more mozzarella if you want a gooey cheesy topping. I will make this all the time!

Chicken Pot Pie III

DELICIOUS! I doubled the recipe to make several individual pies. I also used cream of mushroom and chicken instead of celery and potato (I did add potato cubes, broccoli and cauliflower to the mixture) Even though I modified, Im sure it would have been just as wonderful if I had followed the recipe. AND SO EASY!

Best Ever Pie Crust

OMG! The one and only time I have ever made a pie crust was in home economics about 13 years ago. I had never attempted it because, yes, I got a C on my pie crust project back in the day. This is SO EASY and delicious! I paired it up with Chicken Pot Pie III recipe also found on allrecipes.com. I doubled the dough recipe and was enough for 6 individual pies (with tops) MMMMM! p.s. I also used butter flavoured crisco

Greek Style Potatoes
