Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: May 5, 2010
Been using this recipe for years...also works great in a large non-stick frying pan on top of the stove. I love leftovers (rarely have them though) and use them in omelets, frittatas or roast beef hash

Dennie's Fresh Lobster Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2010
I made this tonight to use a lone left over lobster...I had to modify the amounts of butter and mayo but I have to say this was such an excellent lobster salad. I used lettuce leaves as a wrap, just outstanding. Rich and smooth and sinful! Wish my husband was the same!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2010
I had this in my recipe box to try and finally got around to it. What a huge hit with my family. I didn't have chicken breasts on hand but had some legs in the freezer so threw them in the crock with the butter and half a packet of the salad dressing mix and followed directions from there. This was such a huge hit and they all want to know when I'm making it again. Thank you for agreat recipe!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
I am literally eating as I write this...what a fabulous version and so simple. From start to table, 20 minutes. Put your pasta water on to boil before you do anything else so it is ready when you are. Put pasta in the water when you put the shrimp in the oven and perfection. I used bottled lemon juice since I forgot to get the lemon but still incredibly delicious.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2013
What makes this recipe incredibly good is the white wine sauce. We make our chicken cordon bleu the way we always have - breaded cutlets with the ham and swiss (or gruyere if we have a few extra $) place on top, into a 300 degree oven for 15-20 minutes so the cheese can melt. Now while that's in the oven I make the sauce and it totally makes the dish. Because it's so rich and fattening, this is a treat for special occassions.

I have been making my chicken this way forever! My mother made it this way (and is still making it this way at 82) and I learned from her, and my daughter and son do the same! Have never used the store bought Shake and Bake in my life cuz nuthin' can beat this!

White Chocolate Party Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2013
I use the corn and rice chex but replace the cheerios with golden graham cereal. Use salted nuts and some small pretzels for a little salty bite. I add m&m's and approximately 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar after it is done cooling. This is truly addictive!!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2011
I made this 2 nights ago and it was a huge hit with the family. I added a shake of dried sage as well (personal preference.) I also used some of the flavorful drippings in the botton of the slow cooker when I made my top of the stove stuffing mix. Just fabulous.
