Spaghetti with Broccoli and Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2014
Whenever at least one of the kids says you need to fix this more often that deserves a 5 star. Very yummy! I tweaked it a little by sautéing the chicken in olive oil instead of broiling or grilling. I did add onions with this, I actually just forgot the salt/pepper entirely. Also, I used garlic powder instead of gloves because that's what I had on hand. If I had mushrooms I would have added those too.

Spicy Peach-Glazed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2014
Excellent!! Fixed this last night with a few tweaks from other reviews. I substituted ketchup for the chili paste since I have kids that probably would not like the spice. I also seasoned the pork chops with just the salt and pepper before searing. I combined the other spices with the peach mixture. Will definitely fix again.

Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2013
Have tried this recipe twice now and love it. I did as one of the other reviewers did and after cooking in crockpot coat with bbq sauce and bake for 20 minutes at 350 and then put second coat of sauce on and broil for 10 minutes. Very tasty and will keep in my rotation.

Pan-Seared Tilapia

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2013
First time with this one and it was amazing. My 7 year old who is fairly picky had seconds. I always have all the ingredients on hand so that was great!!! Will definately be adding this to my menu.

Raspberry Tilapia

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2013
I tried this for the first time last night. I did as others suggested though and used Raspberry Vinergerette. I also didn't have any dill so made it without. Very yummy!! The only thing is you do need to watch the fish and account for thickness because I did this with 5 pieces and it seemed like they all needed extra time and I guess one of the pieces was thicker than the other and needed about 45 min.

Oven Fried Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2013
I liked this recipe, I thought the flavor was good but even after adding five minutes to the cooktime not as crispy as when I fry in a frying pan. I was looking for a little healthier way to do wings but still have them be crisp. The next time I try these I may add a little extra time again to the cooktime and see if that helps with the crispness.

Honey Soy Tilapia

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2013
Very tasty. I marinated about 8 hrs. I did pierce the fish before marinating and when I was ready to cook it I sprinkled with pepper and Kosher Salt per suggestion. Served with sweet potatoes and Annie's Fruit Salsa and chips also found on allrecipes. My husband and I really liked this fish, kids not so much but then again they are very picky eaters so they'll have to get used to it because it will be going into my food rotation.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2013
This was very Yummy. I did as several others had suggested about not adding addition sugar. Didn't find kiwis at the store so my fruit that was used was Fuji apples and banana (added closer to time to eat), grapes, mandarin oranges, strawberries and blueberries. Used strawberry preserves. DELICIOUS!!!! All three of my kids ate it up and will probably have more for breakfast tomorrow. The chips I did as someone else suggested as well as far as spraying both sides, cutting with a pizza cutter and dredging in cinnamon sugar. Will definately keep this one!!!

Mexican Potato Nachos

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2012
Very good. We topped the potatoes with my Mexican chicken mixture instead. I didn't have Veg. oil so I used olive oil and as someone else had mentioned I sprinkled with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Very easy and tasty too.

Bromley Coleslaw

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2012
Just made this. Omitted celery seed and onion since I didn't have them. My husband loves slaw but not a big fan of mayo so we'll see what he says. As for me I loved it.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2012
OMG, This was an awesome recipe. Cooked this for my parents last night for the first time. Very yummy. For all of you who aren't sure about the rootbeer. I wasn't either at first but it doesn't make the pork taste like rootbeer. I used 5+ pound center cut pork loin. Cut in half to fit in crock pot. Covered pork with rootbeer (Barq's) and cooked on low for about 8 hrs. Drained juice and poured Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory Brown Sugar BBQ sauce on to cover and continued to cook on low in crockpot for about 1 1/2 hr. Husband and parents loved it, will definately fix again.

Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2012
Just made these for the first time. Very yummy and extremely easy. For my family of 5 I halved the recipe and also added some diced onion in with the meat and soup mixture. I will definately be making this again. Thanks for an awesome recipe.
